Lecture: Cause and Effect for Peace by Willy Whitefeather Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Location: RVML Event Center - 258 A St, Ashland "A Talk on Cause and Effect for Peace" 2-hour lecture with break and Q&A period. All Tuesday evening events at RVML are free admission Presentation Description: Join us for "An Evening with Willy Whitefeather": Native-American spirituality, prophecy, wilderness survival, and storytelling! Willy has a message of hope for humanity. Spirituality is the only way that the Earth's people are going to survive, so when love is the power, then world "super-power" will cease. Our mind-set around money and consumerism has to change if we are going to help the kids of the future. "Kids are our ticket and we need to teach them all kinds of things to survive in today's world." Willy tells stories from his Cherokee roots. It usually takes him 4 days and 4 nights to tell all the stories!! He weaves pieces of ancient and recent history into a wonderful web, exposing lessons in a positive manner. Knowledge from the sacred teachings of the Hopi will be unraveled and the possible connection between the Cherokee alphabet and George Lucas' Star Wars movies. Upcoming planetary alignments will have a strong influence and will be felt worldwide. Willy will explain why we need to pay more attention to the planets and the cycles of our moon. Presenter's Biography: Willy Whitefeather is an honorary chief of the Black Creek Cherokee Tribe of Florida. Willy Whitefeather's Outdoor Survival Handbook For Children and Willy Whitefeather's River Book For Kids are both best sellers and have already been credited with saving the life of more than one child lost in the wilderness. In 2002, Willy moved from Arizona to the Rogue Valley where he teaches archery, backpacking, and wild food gathering to children along with other survival skills for both children and grown-ups.
