Description:
Network with Ashland business people every Friday morning at Ashland Chamber of Commerce Greeters Meetings hosted by a different business each week. This 10-minute presentation about EMF radiation exposure solutions will be presented following this week's meeting at RVML.
Note: A 10-minute video about cell phone EMF exposure solutions will be shown at 10:00am, following the Greeters Meeting.

Savitri will present Yogananda's original teachings on:

Presenters' Biographies:
For the past 25 years, Savitri Simpson has been an Ananda Sangha minister, counselor, and staff teacher at Ananda's Expanding Light Retreat Center, near Nevada City, CA. and several of Ananda's branch communities, offering classes and seminars on Hatha Yoga, yoga philosophy, and meditation skills. She is well-known for her clear, down-to earth, andhumorous presentations.
Savitri was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Previous to her association with Ananda, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a teaching certificate, and was a teacher and seminar organizer for the Organic Plant Institute of Washington, Texas. In addition to her primary devotion to yoga, meditation, and all related subjects, she is a musician, herb gardener, gourmet vegetarian cook, and nature lover.
During the last 15 years, Savitri has taught hundreds of classes, workshops, and seminars on the chakras. She is the author of two books, "The Chakras Workbook and Chakras for Starters", published by Crystal Clarity Publishers of Nevada City, CA. She has recently released a CD called "Chakras for Starters" with music and guided visualizations for each chakra. Savitri also gives an explanation for what the chakras are and what they do on a video/DVD called "Yoga Postures to Awaken the Chakras." For several years, Savitri was director of the Ananda Yoga Teacher Training Program and is presently director of the Ananda Meditation Teacher Training Program at The Expanding Light Retreat Center.
Sudarshan Simpson is an Ananda minister, counselor, and teacher, a position he has held since 1982. He is also an excellent actor and storyteller. Sudarshan has a degree in biology, and is a person of many talents including being an expert mechanic and able to fix anything in the known universe, plus excelling in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and so on.
Sudarshan presently teaches classes at Ananda Village as well as many Ananda Centers and Meditation Groups around the country. When he's not doing that, he works for the Ananda Builder's guild. Sudarshan loves to camp out, to hike, to be in nature, to take times of spiritual seclusion, to write and read poetry of all kinds, and to be a good friend to many, many people.
