Presentation Description:

John Morell is a life-long Christian Scientist who writes and lectures on the subject of Christian, Jewish and Islamic Fundamentalism. He shows their origins, their dangers, and how Mankind can move beyond them. John's second book: "The Elephant and the Blind Men- Finding the Oneness of God and Man" presents his philosophy which explains that Man himself is God. He devotes a chapter to all six of the major Religions with quotations from each pointing to the oneness of God and Man. He shows that each of us is more than a physical or even a spiritual body. Instead, each of us is, or includes, the entire Universe - which is our Consciousness. We each have in fact created our own Universe. John has created a Society called "The Society of the Universal Man", to promote this philosophy.

"The Elephant and the Blindmen" is an indictment of the world's great religions. It explores the theory largely overlooked by the religions that Man is one with God. The book presents quotations from many religions showing that Man is the very expression of God. We need to lay aside the word, "God" for such synonyms as "Spirit," and "Mind." He has formed the Society of The Universal Man so that those who agree with his philosophy can communicate with each other on the internet.

The Society of the Universal Man is open to all who want to find a philosophy beyond existing Religions of the East or West combining metaphysical teachings of Christian Scientists, the Hindu Upanishads, the Jewish Qabbalah, the Islamic Sufis. It offers a place on the Internet where people interested in these widespread ideas can join together.
