Video Description:
Equipped only with a toothbrush, comb and the clothes on her back, the Peace Pilgrim walked over 25,000 miles for peace, from 1953 until 1964, and continued her crusade until 1981, when she died in an automobile accident as she was being driven to a speaking engagement. Her motto: "I shall remain a wanderer until mankind has learned the way of peace, walking until I am given shelter and fasting until I am given food."
Join us for a screening of video interviews and glimpses of the incredible life of Peace Pilgrim, who literally walked her talk, seven times across the United States.
