Our generation of youth in this country especially is lucky, we have no great depression, no great war; we do not live in constant fear or famine, and without these burdens, it offers us the opportunity and invites us to reach out our free hands to work and improve this world. This is the optimal time to heal this world. We as able youth need to reach out to not only our country but our globe. We can’t try and fix only ourselves and block out the rest of the world. With the help of some higher power we need to mend the world’s discrimination against differences and focus our energy into understanding, appreciating, and respecting these differences. The wounds that have been made by the population of this planet are sore and throbbing, begging for help, now is the time to sew the wounds shut.
