![]() We are explorers. and the most compelling frontier of our time is human consciousness. Our quest involves a new story for humanity that integrates science and spirit, reminding us of our wholeness and connectedness to one another, to the Earth, and to the inner self. Our vision is a global society based on wisdom and love - a "Global wisdom society." "Noetic" is a Greek word meaning "ways of knowing." The ORegon Institute Of Noetic Sciences (ORIONS) is an independent Community Group made up largely of IONS members. Membership is not required to attend our group. IONS is a worldwide membership organization that is currently 55,000 strong. IONS conducts and sponsors scientific research into the workings and powers of the mind, including perception, beliefs, attention, intention, and intuition - subjects that don't fit into the conventional scientific model. ORIONS meets and shares our individual experiences in a lively dialogue format. Each meeting will be a different topic that will be mailed to you in advance of the meeting. To be included on our mailing list please call or email: Daniel Blake (541) 944-5443 [email protected] "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever does." -Margaret Mead
