![]() By Frater Hrumachis (Merrill Ward) All Tuesday evening events at RVML are free admission. Presentation Description: Powerpoint presentation and lecture including a short break and Q&A period. The Art and Science of Ceremonial Magick and the initiatory process in the Western Mystery School tradition has existed since time immemorial passing back through antiquity from the Greeks and the Egyptians, to the Chaldeans and Sumer-Babylonians, stretching back across the Ages until it's mysteries are veiled by the mists of time. Its techniques have been practiced by the adepts of every known culture throughout the world in both the east and west and can be considered the fore-bearer of all known religious systems of the world today, each of which possesses its own particular magical practices and systems of attainment. In this informative and insightful Powerpoint presentation and lecture, Frater Hrumachis (Merrill Ward), Secretary of RPSTOVAL Camp O.T.O. in Ashland and Public Information Officer of U.S. Grand Lodge of the Ordo Templi Orientis, one of the most prominent magical fraternities currently in existence, will present a concise overview of the magical tradition tracing its ancient historical roots up to present day magical fraternities such as the Ordo Templi Orientis and the A A systerms promulgated by 20th Century poet, mystic and magician Aleister Crowley. This 2-hour presentation will also shed light on the three principle components of the Western Mystery School tradition, Raja Yoga, Hermetic Qabalah and Ceremonial Magick and disclose the essence of the Great Work of the initiate within the Mysteries. This presentation will be perfect for beginners and those interested in gaining some basic knowledge, understanding and preliminary insights into occultism and the Ceremonial Magical tradition and will include a question and answer segment to address any questions those in attendance may have.
