Iridology is an ancient art that has been practiced for centuries and recently has been verified by scientific methods. It is highly regarded and practiced in Europe, especially Germany, where many of the the scientific studies are taking place. The first thing noted in an Iridology Reading is the constitutional type. The constitution indicates recuperative ability. The several constitutional types also indicate what a person is prone to in terms of these vulnerabilities and areas of weakness that require attention. A Chinese medical approach can be determined by an iridology reading. The eye shows various tendencies in the Chinese diagnostic picture. Based on the map of the iris, largely developed by Dr. Bernard Jensen and other researchers, the iridologist examines the intestinal zone, digestion, the organs and glandular systems, as well as mental aspects, and finally lymphatic system and skin. The different colors in the eye as well as shadowing and highlights, all contribute information for a complete picture of the state of health of an individual, both currently and of potential future states. Each eye contains a map of the human body, including predispositions and inherited conditions. Thus, iridology can help to prevent problems before actual manifestation at the physical level. By looking at inherited tendencies and putting that information together with a short client intake to get a feel for lifestyle and healthcare choices, many health problems can be averted and/or healed before they become serious. In an iridology reading, Clea photographs your eyes, does an intake consultation, and processes a set of eye slides. She then combines the slide information, together with the consultation history, and prepares a report. At the actual reading, your eyes are projected onto a screen, and Clea takes you through the eye road-map, discussing the information revealed by the slides. The entire process, including intake and preparation time and actual reading takes approximately three hours and requires two sessions.
