Presentation Description:
For thousands of years, science and religion were absolutely opposed to one another. Science was the academic Newtonian understanding of the universe and to the scientist, religion was merely based on dogma and superstition. They felt the spiritual individual was devoid of intellect and the religionists referred to the scientists as misguided materialists who were often self -proclainmed aetheists or agnostics. Even to this day, the majestic power of quantum physics is not understood by most laymen and very few have seen how the message of unity, brought in 1844 by the most recent manifestation of God- Baha'u'llah, has literally shifted the atoms of the universe into one unified field.
Presenter's Biography:
A designer and student of quantum physics, metaphysics and I Ching for over 20 years, Sharon has been consulting in Feng Shui since the mid 1990's. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and has completed post-graduate studies at UCLA. She is certified in Bio-Geometry and Bio-Geometrical Radiesthesia and practices space clearing and energy balancing. She is a current member of IONS, the Institute of Noetic Science, founded by Apollo Astronaut Edgar Mitchell on the exploration of the study of science and cosmology.
Sharon became a member of the Bahai Faith in 1970 and it has been her source of inspiration for further research in the field of science and religion. She has been the co-host of two television series on the Bahai Faith called The Spiritual Revolution and Spiritual Revolution II taped in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
As an interior designer for over 20 years and a Feng Shui Practitioner since the 90's, she has designed restaurants, corporate offices, commercial properties, residential homes and has had several articles written about her regarding her Feng Shui success stories. The most recent appeared in the Medford Mail Tribune Sunday, February 9, 2003 on the front page of the business section.
She conducts seminars and workshops in the Pacific Northwest and colleges throughout Oregon and is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild. Her clients include many well-known personalities throughout the country and she has been featured on both television and radio. She is a devoted wife and mother of two wonderful children and lives with her family among many of her adopted animal friends in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon.
Sharon continues to speak at public and private venues around the country on the marriage of science and spirit and its indelible impact on our future. An award winning painter and poet, she continues her art to maintain the delicate balance between both worlds.
