Abiding with Angels: Following in the Footsteps of Findhorn by Pamala Joy

Since the Findhorn Community was started in 1962, it is celebrating its 60th anniversary in November.  Known worldwide as a spiritual, educational, intentional community of profound international impact, Findhorn draws people to workshops and conferences on topics as wide-ranging as Spiritual Economics, Sacred Dance, Co-creation with Nature, Building an Ecovillage, and Transforming Human Consciousness.

Living at Findhorn, even visiting for a short time, has a decided impact on anyone going there.   Pamala Joy hitchhiked to this northern Scotland community mecca in 1979, lived there for much of the ’80s and has returned repeatedly since then.  Her life has become an expression of the Findhorn values and ideals, which advocate community before self, respect for all the realms of life, and dedication to the Earth itself.  Guided by her own Angels since adolescence, and impacted by her experiences at Findhorn, Pamala has lived a very unconventional life, focused on healing, humor, sharing, service, community, and commitment to following her heart.

In this presentation, we will explore opening to your own Angels, as well as how to invite and keep Nature Spirits in your garden.  We’ll actively experience a variety of energetic healing modalities which can help balance you energetically and physically for better health and well-being, and we will discuss the basis of community.

Based on personal interaction and discussion, the evening will flow where the energy of the group leads.

Pamala Joy, an Ashland resident since 1992, has lived and worked in a variety of communities around the world, including the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, Auroville in India, Damanhur in Italy, and two theatre communities in London, England.  Currently, she holds the focus for a small community in Ashland, and manages two non-profits which provide food and other necessities to people in need.  Her skills in mime, clowning, and street theatre took her to many countries around the world, performing and teaching for over two decades.

Experiencing Angelic presences from an early age led Pamala into exploring esoteric teachings, including energy healing, communicating with plants and Nature Spirits, dowsing, and receiving guidance from Angels.   Healing studies include color and sound healing, Metamorphic Technique, Resonance Repatterning, Eden Energy Medicine, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and the healing power of humor.

Presently her focus is on community service through Ashland Food Angels and the Angels of Service.
