Mick Mize brings unique insights from a career that’s hit literally every scale of theater you can imagine. As a professional actor and performer, he’s worked at prestigious regional theaters including Shakespeare Santa Cruz and GEVA Theater Center, performed leading roles with innovative companies like Berkeley’s Shotgun Players, and spent a year touring as a clown with Cirque du Soleil (yes, really!). This unusual range of experience – from doing Shakespeare in the forest to performing 300 shows with an international circus – gives him a distinctive perspective on how organizations can nurture creativity while building the systems they need to grow and excel.
He now helps organizations apply these insights to build structures and cultures that are both systematic and creative (because it turns out you actually need both to make magic happen).
