UFOs and the Public Psyche: The Massive Arizona UFO Flyover by Stacey Wright, MUFON State Director

The March 1997 events in and around Phoenix, AZ commonly known as “The Phoenix Lights Incident,” remains the world’s largest UFO/UAP mass-sighting to this day.

Lights and huge low-flying objects of varying descriptions were seen by thousands of people across 300 miles of Arizona desert the evening of March 13, 1997. With her knowledge and investigative expertise, Stacy examines data points from eyewitness accounts, tracking the one very large boomerang-shaped craft as it traversed the entire state, and the numerous lesser-known other sightings of strange-shaped craft linking this landmark event.

During her fascinating lecture and slideshow, Stacey lays out the facts, busts the myths, and presents interesting timelines, details, and narratives surrounding this now infamous and misunderstood case and its impact on the public.

Stacey Wright is the State Director for Arizona MUFON, and the Director of Phoenix MUFON (Mutual UFO Network.) MUFON is one of the oldest and largest ET/UFO research and education organizations in the world, with over 4,000 members in 50 states and more than 40 countries.

Stacey is a certified Field Investigator and STAR Team member for MUFON, and over the past 16 years she has helped to build the Phoenix MUFON chapter from the ground up to become MUFON International’s 2017 Chapter Of The Year.

Stacey has worked as team leader on Roswell archaeological digs with Don Schmitt, helped design and produce the Phoenix Lights exhibit for the Arizona Historical Society Museum, and was team leader for the revision of MUFON’s State Director Handbook. She is the organizer of MUFON’s Annual Field Investigator Boot Camp which has been held in Mesa, AZ for the past six years. The Boot Camp is a weekend of concentrated instruction on the protocols for completing a quality investigation of a UFO-related event.

Stacey has a true passion for investigating and appreciating numerous mysteries, whether they be archaeological, interdimensional, or celestial. She has enjoyed working 28 years for the public school system, raising two amazing children, and four amazing grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, star watching, archery, and camping/hiking in the tall pines and high country of Arizona.
