Presenter's Biography:
Julie Avena, aka "Miss Bliss - The Herbal Dakini", is a tantric educator and love coach, certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist, reiki practioner, shamanic healer, ordained minister, teacher, mother and performing artist.
With over 20 years experience in energetic healing arts, Avena has studied with shamans, indigenous medicine women, herbalists and healers from around the world. After being initiated into the neo-Tantric traditions at age 20 she was able to heal and transform deep sexual wounds from the past. Her path has guided her on a journey to share sexual healing and spiritual awakening with the world.
For over a decade Shakti Bliss has offered uplifting, informative and fun workshops on health, sexuality and spirit everywhere from prestigious Universities and professional seminars to the wildness of Burning Man and music festivals. She is creator of PUJAFUNK, an interactive ecstatic dance ritual, and performs erotic ritual dance with the Tantric Circus across the US. Private healing sessions are available in her temple studio in Ashland as well as over the phone and internet. She currently co-resides and maintains a private practice in Ashland, Oregon and the San Francisco Bay area.
