UPDATE 6/4/08: RVML's Big Weekend Giveaway & Sale Gets Even Bigger!
Folks, we're not kidding about the "over 10,000 free items": Books, VHS, and audio cassettes, plus amazing bargains on our surplus DVD inventory and A/V electronics. This is a really special and rare opportunity.
It's almost unthinkable for an archive & library like ours just to give away these amazing A/V titles. Many of them are straight from our lending collection, plus other general-interest subjects too. But everybody knows what's happened to the VHS and audio-cassette formats.
We just desperately want people to watch and listen to all this great material at least one more time before it becomes land-fill! Shudder to think! Don't forget that we still lend VHS and audio cassette players at no cost!
Here's a partial list of what's available this weekend, including the recently added items:
Free items:
-1000s of free books on nearly every subject
-1000s of free VHS tapes

-1000+ free LP records; mostly classical, jazz, soundtracks, etc.

-15+ Sony VHS VCRs, $25 each
-2 Dell, Princeton LCD computer monitors, $150 each
-5+ Sony 13" Televisions, $50 each
-2 Sony Mini-Disc recorders, $25 each
-2 Sony high-speed 1:1 dubbing cassette decks with 100 blank tapes, $50 each
-2 Telex high-speed 1:3 cassette duplicators w/ cases & 200 blank tapes, $150 each
-3 Anvil-style, 22-space 19" equipment rack road cases, $100
-1 Anvil-style, 18-space 19" equipment rack road cases, $100

Please tell all your friends, and come to the UPSTAIRS HALLWAY at 258 A Street in Ashland this Saturday, 8am-6pm or Sunday, 12pm-6pm. Limit 25 free items per person please, but late in the day on Sunday, NO LIMIT on VHS and audio cassette titles!

RENT RVML's PRESENTATION FACILITIES: The 1,000 square-foot (15'x65') presentation area is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible with full audio-visual capabilities available.
Eighty folding chairs can be arranged in different configurations for meetings, presentations, video screenings or other events. $15.00 per hour. Other publicity and production services available.
