Presentation Description:
The purpose of the Enneagram is not about "Typing" yourself or others. It is about the transformation of 9 distinct, fixed patterns of ego into 9 unique Soul qualities of love, truth and beauty. In this evening, you will begin to learn about:
-The universal laws within the Enneagram symbol as Gurjieff originally taught when he brought the symbol to the west
-The structure of Soul in relation to the development of our Essence, including the Animal Soul, Soul Child, Personality and the Super Ego
-The root energies and primary issues of the 9 personality styles
Whether you are new to the Enneagram or a very experienced and learned student, I invite you to come receive an expanded view of how working with Enneagram knowledge can facilitate greater consciousness and precise Soul development. The power of Enneagram knowledge can awaken you to a knew level of awareness; dissolve unnecessary suffering; help you better understand your relationships; and open you to authentic compassion and inner freedom.
Presenter's Biography:
Kristen Tussey, M.A., LPC, is a Counselor and Educator who specializes in healing trauma, facilitating personal growth, and building healthy relationships as essential elements on the path of human, soul, and spiritual transformation. She has been working with the Enneagram since 1986, and has trained extensively with world renowned teachers including Don Riso, Russ Hudson, Tom Condon, and Santra Maitri.
Since 1998, she has taught the Enneagram in a variety of contexts including Naropa University, small group settings, community groups, and in her counseling practice with individuals, couples and families. She is a Diamond Heart student and offers Enneagram groups, Dreamwork, and counseling to those who aspire to walk the path of in-depth healing and embodied spirituality.
Kristen and her partner, Bonnie Greenwell opened the Ashland Transpersonal Counseling Center in April, 2008. The Center is devoted to a non-dual approach to psychotherapy, meditation and spiritual awakening and is located within the Arura Clinic, 233 Fourth Street in Ashland.
