Given that peak psychedelic experiences through the use of entheogens (plants or substances that generate the experience of God within) occasion mystical awakenings to inner divinity, what does this mean about the nature of reality? Are these experiences "real," and if so, what does this reveal about the human experience and its relationship to God?
The Entheological Paradigm is an attempt to answer these fundamental questions and provide a model for the nature of reality from a mystical and thoroughly human perspective. Though largely compatible with modern science, the Entheological Paradigm presents startling challenges for religious versions of God, reality, and the purpose of human existence. Within this paradigm, all of reality is characterized as an energetic fractal matrix that can explain not only physics and the mathematical sciences, but also the development of life, consciousness, self-awareness, evolution, and mystical awakening. With this model of reality, definitive answers to the following questions become possible:
Is there life after death?
Is reality an illusion?
Does God exist, and if so, what is God?
Does reincarnation exist?
Can one travel in consciousness to other realms?
Are there spirits and dis-incarnate energies?
Are there multiple realities or universes?

Martin W. Ball, Ph.D. is the author of several books on entheogens and spiritual practice and is host of the weekly podcast, "The Entheogenic Evolution." He has spent many years working with entheogens in his personal spiritual practice and has dedicated his work to disseminating practical advice for working with entheogens and navigating the experiences they give rise to. After recently undergoing a profound personal energetic realignment and opening, Dr. Ball found himself reaching a startling number of conclusions about the nature of reality, personal experience, and God. From this awakening, he has been synthesizing his views into the Entheological Paradigm, which he has shared with others through his podcast. He has articulated a view of radical freedom and radical responsibility that is grounded in the recognition of the inner divinity of all life and existence.
