Marla Estes, MA lives in Ashland and is a workshop leader, teacher, writer, and mentor. Having a Masters degree in Transpersonal Studies, she has taught at SOU Extension, the SAEJ program at Ashland High School, and has led women's study groups. Several of her articles have been published in the Sentient Times and Alternatives Magazine.

Haruko BlueStarChild is a multi dimensional artist. She loves to design and create. She receives inspirations from the Angelic Realm, and she consciously merges with the Source (Creator) and Mother Earth and co-creates our ultimate dream to bring joy, peace, and harmony on the Earth through her artistic creations.
Haruko's Story:
Haruko (HA-RU-KO) was born in Japan and now resides in Mt. Shasta. She had studied art in several schools and graduated from San Francisco Art Institute with Master's degree in 2000. During her school year in 1999, her style of work had dramatically changed and became more spiritually oriented. She started to consciously receive information from different dimensions and the world, such as Angelic realm, Nature kingdom, and other planetary systems.
Haruko loves to receive a creative inspiration from the heart of Mother Earth and the Source of all there is (Creator). For her, drawing has been such an awakening experience, and whatever has come through from her drawings have been her great teachers. Her vision and mission as an artist is to bring forth the essence of joy, purity, innocence and beauty through her creations.
Recently, her focus has been deeply with Mother Earth. So this show will be mainly on the Earth plane and the future vision of the beautiful world that we all are co-creating. They are all colorfully painted or silk or other materials.

Our whole process of spiritual growth leads us to Unity. That Unity occurs because our minds, emotions, and body become aligned and at-One. When this alignment is brought about, the energies of the soul pour through our nature - inspiring, revitalizing, and healing. In this meeting we will explore various ways to align our personal natures, integrate with spiritual qualities, and unfold the various powers of our soul: Light, Love, Peace, and Joy. Join us as we explore our own esoteric and subjective natures in fun and fellowship.
Our meeting is a presentation and a lively discussion. We'll start out with an overview of our evolution from the esoteric point of view. The second half will consist of practical, down-to-earth methods for genuinely connecting to your own soul nature. We will discuss:

Presenters Biography:
Brett Mitchell first first began his study of esoteric truths when he began reading the Alice A. Bailey book Telepathy at the age of 16. He has been studying and meditating with the esoteric philosophy of these teachings ever since. He has given presentations on esoteric teachings since 1987.
Brett does not represent any group or teaching. He is dedicated to helping people discover their true nature in whatever way is best for them. He believes that all knowledge is relative truth, and that absolute Knowledge and true Wisdom can only be found within our own minds and hearts. He does not ask anyone to follow him as an authority and asks people to always look to their own souls for guidance.
Brett lives north of San Diego in the community of Vista, California.

Presentation Description:
Welcoming Astrology in Ashland's 10th year
September starts our tenth year. We start the year with an evening of short presentations from five local astrologers.
Mary Plumb will introduce everyone and talk about our plans for this 10 th year.
Sandra Pastorius will share a celebration for the Fall Equinox, and offer insights on the season's current transits.
Doug Kellogg will talk on the meanings of the planets as seen in different types of astrology - mundane, personal, and spiritual astrologies.
Steffan Windroth will discuss the precession of the equinox. Are we in the Age of Aquarius? Some say yes, but I say only by orb, not officially for two hundred more years. Let me explain it to you. You decide.
Steve Wolfson will speak on Natural Cycles and Their Effects on Human Behavior. Certain celestial events repeat in cyclical patterns. Part of the astrologer's work is observing those events and correlating them with their effects on human behavior. Steve will discuss cycles in human life.

Presenter Biographies:
Mary Plumb has been a student of astrology since the 1960's. She's had a counseling practice since 1985 and has worked with The Mountain Astrologer magazine since 1993 as writer, Book Editor and web manager. Mary teaches all levels of astrology and is the President of Astrology in Ashland.
Sandra Pastorius is a veteran Astrologer in practice since 1979. She was trained/mentored by late San Francisco Astrologer, Robert Cole in the 70's. Sandra's Moon Sign column, The Lunar Muse by Laughing Giraffe, was self-published for ten years. Her writing appears each year in the We'Moon Astrological Datebook.
Doug Kellogg has been an astrologer for 25+ years and a computer programmer for 35+ years. He combines these two interests to develop computer software for astrologers. Doug is the Treasurer of Astrology in Ashland.
Stefan Windroth has been a practicing Astrologer since 1990. He learned the craft directly from his mother, known in Santa Barbara as Raquel in the '60s and 70s, and presently in Santa Fe as Alvina.
Steve Wolfson is a student of Jeffrey Wolf Green's Evolutionary Astrology. He speaks at EA Conferences and gives Soul life-readings and reaches EA classes. Steve is the Vice-President of Astrology in Ashland.

LILITH- The Cosmic Feminine in Myth, the Arts, Popular Culture and Astrology

Presentation Description:
At once both ancient and modern, LILITH appears in our oldest literature. Goddess or demon, this alluring female figure has continued to fascinate our cultural imagination for over four millennia. If we follow her trail back in time to seek the source of the fear and negativity she typically evokes, we often discover, not only a major shift in the collective human image of the feminine, but also something essential that needs to be redeemed in our personal lives.
In the morning session, we draw from mythology and religious tradition as well as literature and art to see how Lilith has evolved through the centuries. The four astronomical Liliths will be introduced: Asteroid, Dark "Shadow Moon," Black Moon and Star.
In the afternoon, we apply the Lilith points to charts and lives of famous people and our own. Our discussion will range into states of consciousness, psychological shadows, eros, subtle energy fields and the galactic center as we seek her subtle signature in the spiritual and the mundane.
In this workshop, Kelley shares material from her two new books: Living Lilith: Four Dimensions of the Cosmic Feminine and Black Moon Lilith.
During her visit to Ashland, Kelley is available for personal astrological consultations by appointment. Consultations will be held at RVML
Presenter's Biography:
Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., C.A.P., is an internationally-known astrologer and mythologist. Her psycho-spiritual approach to astrology is supported by studies in Depth Psychology and interdisciplinary doctoral studies in Philosophy, Cosmology and Myth. She appears on John Edward's new InfiniteQuest.com web channel and is a columnist for The International Astrologer. Kelley is astrologer for the Self Centre at Caneel Bay Resort in the Virgin Islands, where she also tells star stories under the tropical night sky. Her free Cosmic News e-letter goes around the world on new and full Moons.
