A Course In Miracles Study Group
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Einstein said we are unable to solve the problems we have created at the same level that we created them. With the Course in Miracles as a guide we can now choose to move up to that new level. This new level requires nothing short of a radical transformation of consciousness - a whole new way of thinking and a whole different source of thought. When this radical transformation occurs new stuff which is already within each of us is let loose: joy, love, right answers, perfect peace.For the transformation to occur we are called to remove the barriers to the awareness of Love's presence. Everything that has been accumulated in our thinking mind can be examined and evaluated to find out if it is getting us what is in our best interest. If a thought is not serving us we can choose to change our mind and create a "miracle". With the barriers removed Love becomes real and is experienced. When this new radical awareness takes over what used to seem important is no longer because Love is all there is. Truth and love vibrates in the movement of true relationship. Perfect happiness is experienced when you are with others. When we sit together there is a different quality - it's alive. Come join us in supporting each other in the removal of the barriers to the awareness of Love's presence.
Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary. The Course in Miracles has three books: the text, the lessons, and the teacher's manual. We will be doing the lessons.
There is one lesson for each day. At each meeting we will discuss the last week's lessons:

We suggest you do your best to read a lesson a day and just be open to whatever you may get from it. The course uses Christian words that have radically different meanings under the Course in Miracles. Please do not loose the value of the course just because of your reaction to the language. Please come and talk about it. We can supply the written lessons if you don't have a book. The Course is about healing and forgiveness.

The Course in Miracles Study Group usually meets every Thursday (except holidays) 7:00 - 8:30pm at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library.
Please plan on coming a few minutes early and be sociable. We will start our dialogue promptly at 7 PM. We will go until about 8:30.

Presentation Description:
Free yourself from glasses and more. Learn proper vision habits so your eyes can relax, move and see more clearly. Based on the work of William H. Bates (1860-1931) and the studies of Thomas R. Quackenbush , it is not exercises, but rather relearning natural, correct vision habits that will allow your vision to return to clarity. Beyond clarity refers to the other aspects of vision such as: color, texture, and three-dimension. Vision is primarily mental. When you study the human vision system, many doors and paths open.
Visual blur is your body's way of letting you know that your visual system is strained and its cry to be restored to balance. Learn the connection to left brain/right brain dominance and more. Many have improved conditions of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. A list of books and other resources will be provided for your further study.
Presenter's Biography:
Karen Kiester has been paying her bills as a computer programmer/analyst for a number of corporations for the past 20 years. Her other 'life' includes studying Energy Medicine for over 10 years, and is a practicing Reiki Master. She also works with Bach Flower Essences and has dabbled in a number of modalities; and Nikken Wellness Products. Her interest in returning to visual clarity began a few years ago, and she has studied with Thomas Quackenbush at various time sover the past two years. She is now a certified Natural Vision Improvement Instructor and looks forward to sharing this powerful work with you and guiding you in your quest for clarity.
