Ashland Constitution Dialogue No. 2
Meeting Description:
The City of Ashland is re-writing the Ashland City Charter -- our city's Constitution! -- from the ground up!
The Ashland Charter is the official transfer of legal and decision powers from We The People to the corporation known as City of Ashland.
Learn About the Agenda Items on the table by the Charter/Constitution Review. Dialogue with others and Decide for yourself what is important to you.
We need a city government in harmony with the will of We The People. Our individual and collective hearts and minds need to be converted into decision-making structures and processes that govern our community and determine Ashland's future.
It's the job of We The People to decide what we want in OUR Charter. The government works for us, not the other way around. Let's take this chance to make it work that way in the real world!
Please donate $5, or whatever you can, to help us pay for room rental, surveys, handouts, etc. No one turned away for lack of donation.
