Lecture: Breaking Silence: The Da Vinci Code, Hidden History, and the Initiatory Path
By Jennifer J. Reed

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

There are few things known for certain in this world, and one of them is that history is a matter of perception.

Is history a matter of agreed upon lies? Is history the property of the victors complete with ownership rights into perpetuity? Explore how history's little known facts-those anomalies of archaeology and long ignored texts-might well be keys to a new worldview. The Da Vinci Code is only the beginning-an example of how fiction brings forth the world of conventional and independent scholarship to the public eye.

Mary Magdalene: Was she a wife, a whore, a priestess-princess destined for a royal marriage in the most ancient of priest-king traditions? What secret did the priest of a small French village carry to his grave? Why was his confessor murdered? Is Abbe Berenger Sauncier's secret encoded in a sacred science that criss-crosses the south of France? Who does the "Priory of Sion" serve? Vedi, vidi, da Vinci: Symbols in the art and the eye of the beholder. Why end at Rosslyn when the reality of France is so much more compelling? And finally, why should we care about any of this?

Presenter's Biography:

Jennifer J. Reed holds an A.B. in Speech Communication from the University of Southern California and also studied ceramics, drawing, and design at the Art Institute of Southern California in Laguna Beach, California. She spent eighteen years as a ceramic artist, specializing in carved one-of-a-kind porcelain vessels and dinnerware.
Her expertise focuses on matters of initiation and mysticism; her research and interests focus on spiritual issues, Egyptology, archaeology as regards women warriors, and anything that counters conventional perceptions of the past. She has a special interest in the esoteric and in secret societies (Freemasonry, in particular) and is currently writing a novel. "For Sion's Sake I Will Not Be Silent," her interview with author Margaret Starbird (The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, The Goddess in the Gospels, and Magdalene's Lost Legacy, and Mary Magdalene, Bride in Exile), currently appears on the Phenomena web site http://phenomena.cinescape.com/0/editorial.asp?aff_id=0&this_cat=Alternate+History&action=page&obj_id=4627#

Presentation Description:

Alchemy is the ancient Art & Science of causing spiritual, psychic and physical transformation to occur both within ourselves and in the world around us. Based on the ancient teachings of Hermeticism from the mythical Egyptian prophet Thoth/Hermes through the formula of the legendary Emerald Tablet, alchemy has developed continuously over centuries by it's practitioners in both the West and Far East and is considered the Mother of modern Science, in particularly Chemistry and Medicine, and remains a key component of the Western Mystery School tradition.

Alchemy is most often associated with metallurgy and the practice of transmuting the physical substance of lead, or base metals, into gold. History of the World, 1900-2030
a talk by local astrologer Doug Kellogg

Astrology is not only excellent for understanding the behavior of individuals and following their path through time, it is also very revealing for understanding a nation and seeing the interplay of forces that make up the history of the world or of a country. This talk will focus on the three outer planets, show how their configurations describe the most important events of the last 100 years, and perhaps cast more light on those events when seen through the lens of astrology. With this knowledge we will explore the upcoming quarter-century, not only for the world by also for the United States. This may be seen to tie in with prophecies of other peoples, such as the Mayan calendar.

This talk will be illustrated with charts of the outer planets as they move and form various configurations, as well as paintings, photographs, and graphs. This talk is accessible to novices in astrology - basic astrologica characteristics of the outer planets and fundamentals of their orbits will be explained. Living through at least part of the Twentieth Century is useful but not mandatory.

Doug Kellogg as been interested in astrology for 30 years, interested in computers for 35 years, interested in history for 40 years, and interested in the future all of his life. This talk will combine all four subjects. He has a web site at astrology3d.com.

Astrology in Ashland/SONCGR is a community of people who share an interest in astrology. For more information call Doug @ 541.482.8988 or e-mail soncgr@mind.net.

If you would like to be added to Astrology in Ashland's event notification email list, or have any questions or comments, please contact Steve Wolfson at 201-0825, or by email to steve@stevewolfson.com. We welcome your input and encourage you to join us and find out more about the planets and how they affect our lives.

David LaChapelle
Lecture: "The Three Knots of Experience"- The Subtle Anatomy of Daily Living
By David LaChapelle

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

Behind the surface of events and reactions that appear in our lives on a daily basis are more subtle structures. The shape and function of these structures conditions our daily experience to a remarkable extent.

In this evening's presentation we will look at three major knots of experience that condition our minds and bodies on a continual basis. When these knots loosen, vast space opens up in which we are suddenly greater than the content of our usual drama. By coming to a deeper understanding of these conditioning points and learning how to work directly with them the opportunity for more expanded states of awareness becomes possible.

The evening will be a weaving of conceptual material, sound, meditation and stories from the history of human awakening.

Presenter's Biography:

David La Chapelle is an author, artist, teacher and meditation practitioner. He has explored many spiritual traditions in great depth and has consistently worked to understand the true condition of our selves and the world. He has led spiritual retreats nationwide for over thirty years.

Introductory Lecture: "Crossing the Event Horizon"
By Nassim Haramein

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Note: All-day workshop on Sunday, June 25. See: http://www.rvml.org/calendar/wc06252006.htm" Target="_blank">http://www.rvml.org/calendar/wc06252006.htm

Description:

If you are not yet familiar with Nassim Haramein's exciting work, prepare yourself for an exhilarating odyssey into hyperspace and beyond. Haramein, who has spent his lifetime researching fields of physics from quantum theory to relativistic equations and cosmology, will lead you along a fascinating discussion geared to a layman's understanding of the fundamental nature of the universe and creation that includes black holes, gravitational forces, dimensions, and the very structure of space itself - all of which are integral parts of his now-complete Unified Field Theory. Haramein's theory is currently in peer review process for publication in physics journals; however, the presentation does not end with the introduction of his theory alone, but includes the discussion of the path that he took to arrive at his views, which weaves between the texts and monuments of ancient civilizations, biology, chemistry and the primordial role of consciousness - all of which lend further credence to the science behind the th
eory.

Presenter's Biography:

Born in Geneva , Switzerland in 1962. As early as 9 years old, Mr. Haramein was already developing the basis for a hyperdimensional theory of everything he called the "Holofractographic Universe." This Unified Field Theory was developed based on a specific geometric array which he has found to be fundamental to creation. This theory has now been presented to the scientific community, and his scientific papers will soon be followed by a DVD and a book for the layman entitled "Crossing the Event Horizon."

Nassim is fluent in both French and English, and in addition to his technical presentations, he also conducts layman workshops and seminars on his theories to help bring an awareness that is greatly needed at this time. These lectures are designed around his life experiences beginning with childhood illuminations, followed by his research of ancient codes left in monuments and documents around the world -which, interestingly, seemed to have lead him through a similar path of investigation as Sir Isaac Newton (having spent a significant part of his adult life deeply immersed in the study of ancient texts before arriving at his fundamental laws of nature)- and culminating in his Unified Field Theory. Many believe that his work may lead to some of the most important scientific, philosophical and technological discoveries of our time.

Ted Clay
Lecture & Discussion: "Crop Circles, Plant Science, and Hope"
With Ted Clay

Window-shopping in the marketplace of the miraculous? Crop circles may appear to be the real deal. These "spiritual machines" come with beauty, danger, contact with non-human intelligences, apparently valid scientific studies, plus compelling videos of balls of light. What more could one ask for to have one's awe-button pushed? But hold on. Before investing your time and, what is most precious, your enthusiasm, into The Crop Circle Phenomenon, first check Consumer Reports.

This is the second workshop in the series "Crop Circles from a Scientific Viewpoint," a discussion group interested in examining closely the evidence which either supports or contradicts the idea that crop circles are all man-made. The intention is cover the evidence in depth, with thoroughness taking priority over time constraints. Participants are encouraged to bring their own books, videos, photos and other source materials on crop circles.

In this session we will focus on the studies of changes to the plants and soil in crop circles. This research has been done by BLT Research, Eltjo Haselhoff, and others. Is it true that changes seen in the plants are the result of rapid heating, or do ordinary explanations fit the evidence better? Other researchers have presented evidence of electric or magnetic changes in crop circles. We will cover these topics, and closely examine a riveting eyewitness account by BLT spokesperson Nancy Talbott.

Without presuming that we come to agreement on every aspect of this topic, we will also spend some time on the personal issue of what it means when an exciting phenomenon turns out to be less than expected. Can the challenge of the disillusionment experience lead to spiritual growth? Definitely so. We can find redemption in our own sense of humor. We can find hope and energy in our own sense of competence.

Presenter's Biography:

Ted Clay is a local statistician and crop circle skeptic who was interviewed by National Geographic Channel for the recent program titled: "Is It Real: Crop Circles".

"The best way to keep an open mind is to clearly state what would change your mind." -- Ted Clay

Lecture: Subtle Energies- The Life Force: Understanding & Practical Applications
By Dr. Yury Kronn

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

In the first part of this presentation Dr. Kronn demonstrates that an analysis of experiments done by a conventional scientist unequivocally proves the existence of the Subtle Energy Field called "Chi" or "Prana" in Traditional Oriental Medicine, and makes it possible to identify the nature of the Subtle Energy Field. Dr. Kronn will discuss the mechanisms of interaction of the Subtle Energy Field with physical matter and the human body that create a scientific base for the belief that the Subtle Energy Field is the life sustaining force of the Universe. These mechanisms also make it possible for us to explain the influence of energetic healing and "psychic power" on the structure of matter as we have seen with the experiments of Emoto, and many examples of distant healing, etc.

Vital Force Technology (VFT), created by Dr. Kronn, is the subject of the second part of the lecture. VFT uses plasma based computerized equipment to generate Subtle Energy patterns with properties described by Traditional Oriental Medicine as "The Five Elements", (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth). VFT can also generate the energetic blueprints of any of the elements of the Periodic Table, which are the building blocks of all substances in the physical world. (This might explain why their energy blueprints serve as "software" for many important processes in the body.)

These features of VFT as well as its ability to reproduce the energy patterns of any substance (including herbs, essential oils, gems and minerals) makes it possible to create Subtle Energy formulations targeted to support well-being on all levels: physiological, psychological, mental and spiritual. As these energy formulations, called Vital Force Formulas, are produced they can be stored by a special part of the VFT equipment and amplified again when needed. Dr. Kronn has also developed an infusion chamber that can infuse specific energetic formulas into various substances for many applications.

Scientific research on various energetic formulas and observations of the results by health practitioners will be discussed. Participants will be encouraged to test the energy formula "Cosmic Eye" created for the enhancement of meditation

Presenter's Biography:

Dr. Yury Kronn is a leading researcher and theoretician in the field of Subtle Energy and Subtle Energy technologies with a depth of understanding and knowledge of this subject that reaches far outside the parameters of current western scientific thought. He was educated in western science in the former Soviet Union, at Gorky University and the Lebedev Institute of Physics. He continued his education with years of research into the Eastern Medical Traditions.

A high-level radiophysics researcher, environmentalist, and human rights activist, Dr. Kronn was persecuted for his peace and human rights activities and left the USSR as a political refugee in 1988. After coming to the U.S., Dr. Kronn continued his work, transforming the knowledge of the Ancient Medical Traditions into the language of modern physics and developing the first technology able to generate versatile subtle energy formulas, Vital Force Technology.
