Lecture: Iridology: The Map of the Human Body
By Clea Richards

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

Iridology, or iris diagnosis, is the art and science of analyzing the eyes to determine the state of health. Iridology is an ancient art that has been practiced for centuries and recently has been verified by scientific methods. It is highly regarded and practiced in Europe, especially Germany, where many of the scientific studies are taking place.

Iridology is a way to gather information about our health to help us stay healthy and to prevent and treat illness when they occur. Through iridology, we can determine the constitution of the person, tendencies, weaknesses, problem areas and also strengths that can be nourished and enhanced. Each person has a unique road map in their eye that reveals their mental, emotional and physical make up. This map can be used to enhance health and wellness and also to prevent manifestation of ill health through preventative measures taken before a situation becomes chronic and detrimental.

The iridologist looks at the colors, the fiber structure and any markings in the iris and the sclera and puts together a total picture of past, present and future in relation to one's health. Iridology is both an art and a science and utilizes intuition as well as scientific methodology. Using an eye photo Clea will discuss some of the markings, meanings, and color indications so that you can see what is available through iridology.

Since his late teens, when he began to see clearly following life altering physical trauma, he has focused his energies in two interrelated realms. The first is the realms of experiential education and explorations of the embodiment of consciousness, while the second is in a deep exploration of the sociological and systemic elements of the dominant world culture. The merging of these two realms has allowed him to perceive many of the key patterns and dynamics that define today's world and hold the promise for tomorrow's.

Presenter's Biography:

Ron Maehl, professional mining engineer and precious metals miner for nearly 20 years, arrived one early morning over 12 years ago at a place in his life where it "was deep enough". Following a close brush with death, meeting his soul partner, and many transpersonal and transformative experiences, his passion returned to spirit. At Risk: Ashland's Water ("THIRST" Documentary Video and Discussion)
Hosted by Art Bullock, AshlandConstitution.org

Admission: $5.00 - $20.00 suggested contribution, no one turned away.

Event Description:

The highly acclaimed documentary Thirst shows what happens when cities privatize their water supply or water works. Thirst tells the stories of Cochabamba, Bolivia and Stockton, California, asking the key question: Is water a human right, or a commodity to be bought and sold in the global marketplace?

A handful of multinational corporations are buying water systems worldwide as a business strategy. Cities pressed for revenue sell their water systems and transfer management and/or control of municipal water to these corporations. This informative movie shows the politics and power of water. It will change how you think about water and city government.

We'll explore how these dynamics affect Ashland following the video.

More information: http://www.AshlandConstitution.org and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OfThePeople

Video Description:

Is water part of a shared "commons", a human right for all people? Or is it a commodity to be bought, sold, and traded in a global marketplace? THIRST tells the stories of communities in Bolivia, India, and the United States that are asking these fundamental questions, as water becomes the most valuable global resource of the 21st Century.

A character-driven documentary with no narration, THIRST reveals how the debate over water rights between communities and corporations can serve as a catalyst for explosive and steadfast resistance to globalization.

Reviews:

"THIRST is a provocative portrayal in stark human terms of current battles over water privatization. Communities rise in protest; corporate interests seem to turn a deaf ear. Can there be a middle ground? THIRST provides a passionate jumping off point for a debate that is just beginning." Tom Graff, Environmental Defense

"THIRST brilliantly dramatizes a potential threat of great enormity. A careful and deeply disturbing film about the threat to human safety and survival worldwide by corporate attempts to privatize the earth's water supplies." Norris Hundley, author, The Great Thirst and Professor Emeritus of History, UCLA

"A moving and inspiring film about one of the biggest water issues of our day...it sounds a clarion call for citizens and governments to reaffirm that water is a public trust, not a commodity to be exploited for private profit. I hope THIRST is viewed widely, discussed at town meetings and in legislative debates, and that it energizes citizen involvement in water decisions. A powerful -- and needed -- film." Sandra Postel, Director, Global Water Policy Project

"Do you know who controls your water? You'd better find out. As this powerful film shows, it may already be a private corporation run from afar. THIRST challenges apathy and ignorance about our most precious resource and shows how every citizen's voice can, indeed must, make a difference. See this film, and be inspired to act." Peter H. Gleick, 2003 MacArthur Fellow and author, The World's Water

"THIRST is a remarkable film. The looming freshwater crisis is the greatest environmental and human rights crisis of our time. Not surprisingly, the move is on by powerful corporations and governments to commodify and cartelize the world's water supplies for power and profit. THIRST is the story of this assault and the fight to stop it." Maude Barlow, National Chair, Council of Canadians and Co-author, with Tony Clarke, Blue Gold, The Fight to Stop Corporate Theft of the World's Water

"Beautiful and engaging..." Carl Pope, Sierra Club Executive Director

"THIRST is an important and timely film, and vividly illustrates the human costs of commodifying a most basic human right -- water. From women in India struggling to care for their families in the absence of fresh water and adequate sanitation to the people of Stockton, California, fighting to maintain control over their water resources, THIRST tells a powerful story of resistance and survival." California State Senator Liz Figueroa (D, Fremont) Chair, Select Committee on International Trade Policy Chair

"THIRST beautifully shows how the labor movement can work closely with community groups and the environmental movement to defend public jobs and the public trust. Struggles for control of water could become the focus for creative new coalitions to reverse the tide of privatization." Peter Olney, Institute for Labor and Employment, University of California

"THIRST is a transformative experience. As patrons left the theater, it was clear that the entertainment they had witnessed had progressed to education, visual beauty to substantive understanding. They had been fulfilled and motivated, their minds engaged and expanded. Despite the fact that the issues raised often inflame the passions, audience members felt they had grown without rancor, moved forward without leaving any players or arguments behind." Professor Robert Benedetti, Executive Director, Jacoby Center for Regional and Community Studies, University of the Pacific

"THIRST documents how power, politics and money all combine in the raging international debate about water policy. The underlying issues of community versus corporate control are remarkably similar whether in India or the United States. The control of water may be responsible for more political, economic and even military clashes in the 21st century than was oil in the 20th." Congressman George Miller (D-7, California) Former Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources

"Surprisingly captivating...unlike so many other documentaries about multinationals -- documentaries that tend to be overbearingly supercilious and contemptuous -- THIRST simply lets the story tell itself...THIRST is like a message in a bottle sent from the future. It tells the beginning of what could be one of the major political and economic issues to shape the next century. Don't say they didn't warn you." Phil Busse--The Portland Mercury

"THIRST gives you dry mouth." Matthew Hirsch, San Francisco Bay Guardian

"Another smart bottom-to-top take on complexly related racial, economic, legislative, and individual issues. The crux here: can water access remain 'part of the global commons' everyone should have free access to, or is it doomed to become an economic commodity bought and sold like any other?...This important and engrossing film provides a spur to activism that no one should ignore, unless they're rich enough in obliviousness to propose, 'Let them drink sake.'" Dennis Harvey, San Francisco Bay Guardian

"By showing how activists in Stockton, Cochabamba and India are all...thinking globally but acting locally, Snitow and Kaufman give us a provocative look at the current and coming water wars...After seeing THIRST it will be hard to ever take water for granted." Jonathan Curiel, San Francisco Chronicle

"A groundbreaking and provocative new film about the rush to privatize what the filmmakers rightly define as the very essence of life." Silja J.A. Talvi, AlterNet

"THIRST insightfully and thoroughly explores the contentious issues surrounding water privatization, showing us that it's not merely a Third World concern but a dark and growing trend right here in our own backyard." Shannon Abel, HOT DOCS Canadian International Documentary Festival

"A compelling study of corporate greed, exploitation of the disadvantaged, and volatile uprising among civic-minded protestors demanding equal voice in a controversial issue...A valuable tool for awareness and activism, especially in water rich communities that could become the next battleground for the public's right to water, THIRST deserves to be seen by all who drink, flush, and cook with life's most essential element. Highly recommended." Video Librarian

Solari Circle

Free Admission, donations appreciated

The Solari Opportunity is about shifting wealth and power back into balance with the interests of families and communities in a manner that promotes excellence and the creation of new wealth. We do this by taking responsibility for our economy, by forming Solari Circles and -- where there is significant local business and citizen support -- new ways of circulating resources in our neighborhoods and networks, as we engage our attention and our transactions in a more financially intimate manner.

If we want clean water, fresh food, a sound financial system and healthy communities, we are going to have to finance and govern these resources ourselves. That means withdrawing our support from the institutions that are draining us.

Solari Circles are self-organizing groups of people and trusted friends with a particular focus on investing their time and money in building wealth in transformative ways. Wealth is viewed as a blend of financial and living equity, including the health and well being of our families, our communities and our planet. Financial investment emphasizes financial intimacy and "back to basics" investments.

By collectively shifting our focus of spending, banking and investing toward sustainable and decentralized businesses, we can transform our finances and the world. Our immediate goal is to create living and equity wealth that is sustainable for our families and loved ones in a way that contributes to healthy, sustainable communities worldwide.

For example, why let credit card companies finance our neighbors' debt at 18% when we are only earning 2% on our bank CDs? Why not get together and pool our capital and keep those interest profits in our community, while helping our neighbors work down their debt?

Other local investment opportunities include neighborhood business and venture investments, consumer and business aggregation, government resource reengineering and other similar activities. Network opportunities include what people we know and trust are doing or are investing in, including within their communities.

Solari Circles organize informally and can begin by "Coming Clean" together, and gaining mastery of how the money works around us. Investment pools started by a Solari Investor Circle are organized as legal entities.

Dr. Tom Clunie
Free Lecture: Applied Kinesiology, Demonstration, and Mini-Sessions
By Tom Clunie D.C.

April 2, May 7, and June 14, 2007

FREE ADMISSION

Presentation Description:

Tom Clunie D.C. specializes in Applied Kinesiology, also known as "muscle testing." This non-invasive, highly accurate, diagnostic treatment method was discovered in the 1960s by George Goodheart D.C., when he realized that specific organs reflex to specific muscles. Using Applied Kinesiology, a practitioner can locate misaligned vertebra, determine which organ system is under stress, and identify the exact nutrient the organ system needs for healing. Herbs, vitamins, and minerals are often essential for the restoration of spinal and overall health.

Dr. Clunie will give a free presentation at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library on Monday, April 2, Monday, May 7, and Thursday, June 14 from 7-9 p.m. Bring your questions and 1-2 supplements you would like Dr. Clunie to test.

Tom Clunie graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1981. After practicing in Santa Cruz, California for 24 years, and Coquille, Oregon for 3 years, Dr. Clunie has resettled in Talent, with the goal of providing high-quality chiropractic health care in the Rogue Valley.

Lecture: Emotional Body Enlightenment and the Divine Human
By Mark Shapiro

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

-What if the You that's been seeking is actually what's in the way of your fulfillment?

-What if there were an emotional body architecture as universal as our anatomy?

-What if these two ideas were the keys to addressing the challenges of intimacy, the limits of therapy, and why so few people become enlightened?

Join Mark Shapiro as he presents how EBE sees the universal architecture of our emotional body, the origin of existential wounding, the path to heal it, and Theohumanity as the original blueprint for all other world views, a Metaphysical Unified Field Theory with the breadth & depth to bring all consciousness and healing practices under one umbrella to completion.

The key to this model and its ability to expose the limitations of all other paradigms is the Strategic Self. This is the defensed, closed-hearted version of ourselves which had to arise because our parents were unable to feel what we were feeling while we were feeling it. EBE offers, for the first time in history, a way to access the Strategic Self within the heretofore undiscovered emotional body so that the Authentic Self can take over as boss of being.

The spiritual ramifications of this are profound. EBE offers that unless an individual has painstakingly deconstructed their Strategic Self, then all spiritual pursuits have been attempts at alleviating suffering by that false Self, and is therefore a never-ending quest for pain relief that actually empowers the Strategic Self, rather than a productive path to heal the source of why we suffer over our suffering which empowers the Authentic Self.

The difference is far beyond semantics: an Authentic Self who is human first and spiritual second is eminently more capable and can access much more deeply mental-body Buddhistic Enlightenment and actually abide with the Living God. Until now, this has been metaphysically impossible much less embodiable via a specific practice. Theohumanity offers a map to attain Enheartenment, the triple enlightenment of the emotional, mental, and etheric/chakral bodies, a state never before defined.

Only an Authentic Self, arisen from the ashes of the Strategic Self burned up through emotional body enlightenment practice, can be a divine human, bringing the emotional body with and into its spiritual endeavors rather than using spirituality as a sophisticated heart-wall at best, or as is so common, a designer drug.

Presenter's Biography:

Mark Shapiro is a Certified EBE Facilitator dedicated to helping people find the truth of Who, What and Why they are and has been practicing EBE for over four years. He lives in Ashland and is the Project Coordinator for the non-profit Project Theohumanity.

DOMINIC ALLAMANO is a passionate and potent voice of the emerging visionary generation, inspiring others to shine their light brightly by boldly and humbly shining his.

He feels called to be as a midwife to the emerging culture, assisting both in its birth and development as well as in the navigation of the unforeseen consequences of humanity's past choices, which are defining the context for that emergence. Through extensive travels and speaking around the Pacific Northwest he has aligned with an inspired network of allies with whom he is crafting new paradigm networks and tools like the WorldCrafter's Network (http://www.worldcrafters.org) and CultureSeed (http://www.cultureseed.org) to support the emergence of this new culture.

Workshop: The Enneagram of Relationship: Understanding the Nine Personality Types
and Learning to Communicate more Effectively
By Carl Marsak, M.A.

Time: Friday May 11th, 7-9 pm (Free introduction)
Saturday May 12th, 9-6 pm (All-day workshop)

Cost: $35.00-75.00 (sliding scale). Pre-registration and a $15.00 deposit required.
(Please note that lunch is not provided).

Workshop Description:

The Enneagram is an ancient and sacred diagram that describes nine distinct and fundamentally different personality or character types ("Ennea" is Greek for nine, and "gram" means point or letter). Study and practice of this profound and powerful system helps one to identify and move beyond non-productive mental, emotional and physical habits, increases compassion for self and others, and effectively integrates psychological and spiritual life.

Relationships are an area of human life in which we can experience much joy--and much frustration. Whether we are talking with family member, co-workers, or friends, we often find ourselves in communication with people who have very different ways of perceiving and languaging reality. This may include different motivations for behavior, different beliefs and values, and other ways of creating value and purpose in their lives. Participants in this workshop will learn how to identify their own Enneagram Type, with its specific benefits and limitations; how to apply this knowledge for psychological growth and spiritual development; and how to use this system to heal and improve personal and professional relationships. There will be teaching presentations, meditations and dyad exercises. And in order to demonstrate how the nine types interact, we will spend some time watching DVD clips from different movies. This workshop is designed both for those new to the Enneagram, and for those with previous experienc
e who wish to apply the information and wisdom gained to relationship issues, challenges and goals. Both singles and couples are welcome!

Special Encore Presentation 7pm May 12: At Risk- Ashland's Water
("THIRST" Documentary Video and Discussion)

Marian Spadone
Lecture: "A Fine Farewell"- Home Funerals and Green Burial
By Marian Spadone

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

*Did you know that in nearly every state, a family member or friend has the right to act as the funeral director for a loved one who has died?

*Did you know that embalming is not a legal mandate or necessity?

*Did you know that burying an embalmed body transfers gallons of toxic chemicals directly into the earth.

*Did you know that dry ice may be used by a family to preserve an unembalmed body long enough for home funerals, wakes, and ceremonies?

*Did you know that with the proper permits, you could transport a body home from a hospital or to a cemetery in your own vehicle?

If you are intrigued, please attend to learn more!

Presenter's Biography:

My name is Marian Spadone, and what I do is assist people, through education, information and guidance, to reclaim the loving act of caring for the dead and creating home funerals. I also design and make various kinds of shrouds and other burial containers.

Until only 2 or 3 generations ago, most families took charge of caring for their own dead. Now, with our culture's increasing emphasis on professionalism, we have been made to think that friends or family members don't know how or aren't "allowed" to care for a body after death. We think a body must be embalmed for sanitary reasons. We think that there's only one kind of container to be buried in, called a casket, which must be bought at a funeral home. None of this is true!

I am deeply called to this work. I want to encourage people to take on this blessed and potent experience rather than handing it over automatically to "the professionals". Participating in this way can engage the grieving process profoundly and speed healing and acceptance of all of the losses in our lives.

Event Title: Solari Circle
Location: RVML Event Center - 258 A St, Ashland
Sunday, May 20, 2007

Roger Armstrong
Lecture: Remote Viewing through Self-Hypnosis
By Roger Armstrong

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

The lecture will involve an overview of the process and explanation of hypnosis,
self-hypnosis and their similarities. Through several guided training processes, you will be able to control and direct your own self-hypnosis experience. During the First exercise: You will be looking at an actual painting or reproduction, as you practice the remote viewing technique of walking/floating within that painting. That is, you will learn to view the painting from the inside looking out.

In the Second exercise: You will be developing a viewing portal to see the present (from a variety of view points) or the viewing of your past or future time-lines.
If time allows, we will have a Third exercise: A hidden playing card identification.
I will hold a playing card facing you on the backside of a piece of foam core where you can't see it's face. You will write down the number and suit of the card and we'll see how many of us can get a high percentages of correct observations while in the aware self-hypnosis state.

Presenter's Biography:

My name is Roger Armstrong and I am a member of the RVML. I'm a retired College
Professor of Art and hold an MA, MS, MFA and several continuing education classes, for a total of 175 credit hours beyond my bachelors degree, in Studio Art and Art Education. I taught child and teen psychology as well as art teaching methods from preschool through adult education. The focus was on developing perception-visual and beyond. Upon retirement from teaching, I became a certified hypnotherapist in New York State. I then became certified in Alternate Healing and certified in Past and Future Life Exploration (remote viewing).

I first learned and practiced self-hypnosis and remote viewing when I was very young.
My hypnosis ability expanded at the age of eight, when my 6 to 10 year old playmates wanted to learn how to control their body performance (including pain and bleeding) like I did. Through out my life, though reading and application, I continued to explore my Art and many of the PSI fields as convergent perception of an intention. Through self-hypnosis, I have experienced and practiced the following PSI abilities:

Remote viewing in an in-body local viewing Alternate State Of Awareness.
Viewing the Future, viewing the Past and viewing the Now from different view points.
Mental control of the immediate physical future i.e. telekinesis.
Remote viewing in an Astrol out-of-body non-local Alternate State of Awareness Developed the rapport with the "Cooperative" body-mind commune.
With the approval of the my body-mind commune I can, through self-hypnosis: control my pain, blood flow, physical performance, control self-healing and separate from my body for Astrol viewing.

Free Lecture: Introduction to Vastu- The Ancient Vedic Science of Creation
By Ron Quinn

Free admission, donations appreciated.

Note: See http://www.rvml.org/calendar/wc06022007.htm for Ron Quinn's 2-day Workshop Sat & Sun June 2 & 3 titled: "Vaastu Veda: The Ancient Science of Creation From Ancient India". Other seminars in May, June and July.

Presentation Description:

Vaastu is an ancient and highly evolved spiritual science practiced in India for thousands of years. It is the universal creation science of architecture, art, sculpture, music, dance, poetry, and empowered language (the language of primordial sound and light). Vastu/Vaastu is the magic of practicing Source creativity at the inner level. Through this magical reconnection with our Source, we are empowered to reach toward the inner depths and heights of our own creativity. Through the musical and non-linear science of mathematics and geometry, Vaastu teaches us how to bring healing, inspirational, and transformative effects in very specific ways into our art, architecture, poetry, music, dance, and, indeed into all of our creations. This comprehension requires reconnection with our "higher mind", and the conduit is through our heart's intuition at a very deep, spiritual level.

Vaastu utilizes the universal energy grid of time and space for all human creations. A building or picture or poem created with this understanding becomes a living and vibrant expression of spirit. A true Vaastu building, sculpture, or picture has remarkable potential for healing and balancing the human mind, body, heart, and soul. This kind of creation becomes a clear conduit of expression between all levels and dimensions of being.

Through these means the inner harmony of mind, spirit, and body are restored, even on a cellular level. Because a Vaastu building reconnects our inner being with the natural and spiritual environments, it contains the resonance to assist us in achieving our desires and goals in both the physical and spiritual worlds. In short, Vastu/Vaastu is the science of universal creation at all levels and in all dimensions of reality.

Through it's principles, it is said that we become cosmic creators in harmony with the One Creator. Thus the practitioner of the Vaastu science is called "Vishwakarma" which means the "Creator of the universe".

Presenter's Biography:

Ronald Neil Quinn is one of only a few certified Vaastu builders in America who have trained directly with India's most prominent, traditional Vaastu Architect, Dr. Vaithynathan Ganapati Sthapati. Based in Southern Oregon, he is now offering complete design/construction services for Vaastu Homes and other Vaastu structures to prospective clients anywhere who desire a personal residence that nurtures both body and soul. He also offers Vaastu design, planning, consultation, and, in some instances, construction management services for offices, factories, churches, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, all types of businesses, apartment buildings, healing centers, pyramids, temples, and town planning. Through the understanding of Vaastu principles we offer advanced concepts of green building and co-working in optimal ways with the environment.

Presenter's Biographies:

Steve Pike began playing on the piano when he was four years old, finding sounds in the world and matching them up with notes on the keyboard. He became a professional at the age of 14, and spent the next decade performing a wide variety of music styles. From rock to country, swing to jazz standards, he played piano, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, auto harp, harmonica and percussion. Eventually playing a Hammond B-3 organ, he kicked bass pedals in a power trio, covering songs by groups like Santana and Chicago.

After playing the club circuit throughout the 70's, he decided to take a break from the music scene and explore other avenues of creativity. Becoming a self-taught commercial photographer, he moved to Seattle where he owned a successful photography studio for six years. Returning to Missoula, Montana, Steve continued his photographic career exploring the artistic boundaries of the medium. Examples of his photographic work can be seen on his CD covers.

He began composing original instrumental music in 1992, when he found a keyboard that contained digital samples of all those instruments that he played back in the 60's & 70's. He was influenced by Swiss harpist Andreas Vollenweider, Yanni, Kitaro, Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues and the outrageous creativity of Bela Fleck, (all of whom he saw in concert during one 6 month period).

Inspired by his interaction with nature and wild birds, Steve worked on his compositions for four years and released his first CD "For All Who Fly" in 1996.

During 2000 he played keyboard for Spokane area bands ( The New Desotos, The Culprits, Papa Glen & Border Run, Mojo, The Bel Airs). Returning to his inspirational resources in early 2001, he released his second CD, "Wind Spirit" - music for relaxation.
In July of 2001 he played the Ritzville blues festival with Chris Hiatt, and opened for Bo Diddley.

Larian creates digital mixed media Paintings, Some are as bright and complex as a kaleidoscope, while others are as soft and gentle as a summer rain. Yet each one offers an intriguing visual experience.

Originally from California, Larian has painted since childhood. Over time, he moved from landscape images made with the palette knife in limited earth tones, into Visionary-Mystical and Abstract works

He established his first gallery in Laguna Beach, California, selling three paintings to a curious passerby who happened along before the paint on the walls had dried. Later a visitor from France recommended Larian's work for consideration by the International Academy of Lutec (Arts & Letters) in Paris. Subsequently awarded the Academy's Silver Medal, Larian is one of the few Americans to have received this honor.

Larian's work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, the Midwest, California, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, and is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

Free Lecture: Your Blood Doesn't Lie: How to reach optimum health with regenerative nutrition, detoxification and therapeutic movement
By Jim Jordan, C.N.C., J.D.

Free Admission

Presentation Description:

Using video footage of live and dry blood samples, Jim illustrates how toxic chemicals, heavy metals and radiation adversely effect blood cells and the condition of the cardiovascular, immune, digestive and endocrine systems and then provides simple methods for reducing your toxic load. A free toxicity assessment questionnaire is provided for attendees of the lecture. Jim will review his philosophy of nutrition which emphasizes customizing nutrition programs for one's biochemical individuality, along with inspiring stories of healing from his experience working in natural healing over the past 10 years. Jim will demonstrate a quick and easy ancient Tibetan series of exercises to balance your chakras and activate regenerative processes.

Presenter's Bigoraphy:

As a certified nutritional consultant, trained in live blood cell microscopy by Natural Health Specialists and NuLife Sciences, and a nutritional therapist I have helped many hundreds of people to improve their health. I graduated from Loyola University School of Law and was licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois in 1986. I practiced law from 1987 to 1993.

My interest in natural healing began as a result of my six-year battle with chronic illness. During this time, from 1984 to 1990, I saw dozens of health care practitioners, both conventional and unconventional. I was diagnosed with a variety of illnesses including food allergies, chronic candidiasis, chronic fatigue syndrome and toxic metal poisoning.
By 1989 I had made little progress and had almost given up hope. It was during this time that a life-changing shift in my understanding of healing occurred: a combination of natural therapies that addressed underlying toxicities, deficiencies and emotional challenges is what helped me break through years of struggle, and I was finally able to regain my health.

After regaining my health I felt compelled to share this message of healing with clients from my legal practice, friends, family, even complete strangers. From this point on my life took a new path into the field of natural healing.

In 1996 I began my professional career as a nutritional therapist and live cell microscopist. I was on staff at the Optimal Wellness Center from June 2000 through January of 2004.

I had a private practice in Oak Park, Illinois offering health and wellness seminars and trainings to health care practitioners in live cell microscopy since the spring of 2004. I currently have a private nutrition consultation practice in Ashland, Oregon and started a new business called Health Freedom Seminars in the Fall of 2006 to offer workshops both in person and by video and DVD to health care practitioners and laypeople teaching them how to protect their rights to offer and receive the health care of their choice.

My ongoing education includes a doctoral program in natural healing. I am also completing my naturopathic degree from the Clayton College of Natural Heath.

DOMINIC ALLAMANO is a passionate and potent voice of the emerging visionary generation, inspiring others to shine their light brightly by boldly and humbly shining his.
