Solari Circle

Free Admission, donations appreciated

The Solari Opportunity is about shifting wealth and power back into balance with the interests of families and communities in a manner that promotes excellence and the creation of new wealth. We do this by taking responsibility for our economy, by forming Solari Circles and -- where there is significant local business and citizen support -- new ways of circulating resources in our neighborhoods and networks, as we engage our attention and our transactions in a more financially intimate manner.

If we want clean water, fresh food, a sound financial system and healthy communities, we are going to have to finance and govern these resources ourselves. That means withdrawing our support from the institutions that are draining us.

Solari Circles are self-organizing groups of people and trusted friends with a particular focus on investing their time and money in building wealth in transformative ways. Wealth is viewed as a blend of financial and living equity, including the health and well being of our families, our communities and our planet. Financial investment emphasizes financial intimacy and "back to basics" investments.

By collectively shifting our focus of spending, banking and investing toward sustainable and decentralized businesses, we can transform our finances and the world. Our immediate goal is to create living and equity wealth that is sustainable for our families and loved ones in a way that contributes to healthy, sustainable communities worldwide.

For example, why let credit card companies finance our neighbors' debt at 18% when we are only earning 2% on our bank CDs? Why not get together and pool our capital and keep those interest profits in our community, while helping our neighbors work down their debt?

Other local investment opportunities include neighborhood business and venture investments, consumer and business aggregation, government resource reengineering and other similar activities. Network opportunities include what people we know and trust are doing or are investing in, including within their communities.

Solari Circles organize informally and can begin by "Coming Clean" together, and gaining mastery of how the money works around us. Investment pools started by a Solari Investor Circle are organized as legal entities.

"The Secret of Prospero's Magic - Using the Freedom Archetype"
By Al Haferkamp, HW,M

COST: $5.00 - $20.00 suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Lecture Description:

In this 50-minute presentation with discussion following, Al will discuss the Ontological basis of the transformative power symbolized in - among other places - Shakespeare's "The Tempest". He will show how the symbol called the freedom archetype can be used by an individual to attain personal re-identification and to reclaim a true sense of Self that is immune to the misfortunes of the ordinary.

Presenter's Biography:

Al Haferkamp is a Mentor and instructor in The Prosperos, an organization founded by the late Thane Walker in 1953. Al has taught part-time for The Prosperos since 1976. A psychology graduate of the University of Houston, Al began his counseling exposure in the Army during the Vietnam era, working with returning soldiers and their families. He continues to offer lay counseling to individuals, in addition to his seminar classes.

Although his career path has been in the film industry as a financial executive and consultant, Al considers his real challenge furthering expression of the Ontological source of understanding and wisdom in daily affairs.

Also a practitioner and instructor of tai chi and qi gong, Al resides in Marina Del Rey, California.

Lecture: Mapping The Human Energetic Physiology- The Work of the Rosetta Stone Institute
By Michael Gandy, L.Ac.
Executive Director: Rosetta Stone Institute

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

The Mission of the Rosetta Stone Institute is to Map Human's Energetic Physiology. We believe that the human body uses several built-in electromagnetic systems to monitor the environment and itself. These systems make up an energetic physiology that also plays an important role in human health. Located outside of Talent and in Klamath Falls, Oregon, the not-for-profit Rosetta Stone Institute (RSI) carries out basic and clinical research to understand our energetic physiology--so people can better use it to heal themselves in unprecedented ways.

Understanding the mechanism of acupuncture is our first goal in the Rosetta Stone Institute's long-term mission to Map Human's Energetic Physiology. This is a technically challenging, but achievable, and affordable, first goal. By mapping our acupuncture system, literally "reverse engineering" it, we can achieve greater control of it's application in many aspects of healing. We are specifically focusing on how the acupuncture system works as a complex command and control communication network. Our second goal will be to establish the relationship between the acupuncture system and the semi-conducting electrical system Becker has already demonstrated is crucial for natural regeneration. If a close acupuncture-regeneration relationship is confirmed, our third "goal post" will be to understand the electrophysiology of natural regeneration to develop methods to activate regeneration. The most practical method we envision to achieve a generic regeneration capability is a novel form of electroacupuncture. The forth
goal is to explore the biophysics underpinning various forms of energy medicine.

Presenter's Biography:

Michael Gandy, L.Ac. is the Executive Director of Rosetta Stone Institute. Apprenticed in United States and Taiwan for 7 years before beginning practice in 1983. Studied at the I Ching Acupuncture school and with Hsu Yang Chai in Taiwan and with physician acupuncturists in the US. Formerly Professor at San Francisco College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Organizer of the the 1984 AAAS International Chinese Medicine Conference. Author and designer of Chinese Herbal Medicine: The Formulary for Windows. Director of Electrophysiology acupuncture mechanisms research at the Rosetta Stone Institute.

DOMINIC ALLAMANO is a passionate and potent voice of the emerging visionary generation, inspiring others to shine their light brightly by boldly and humbly shining his. Since his late teens, when he began to see clearly following life altering physical trauma, he has focused his energies in two interrelated realms. The first is the realms of experiential education and explorations of the embodiment of consciousness, while the second is in a deep exploration of the sociological and systemic elements of the dominant world culture. The merging of these two realms has allowed him to perceive many of the key patterns and dynamics that define today's world and hold the promise for tomorrow's.

Free Video and Lecture: SPIRITS in Transition: End of Life Care for Animals
By Ella Bittel

Presentation Description:

Video: Spirits in Transition: End-of- Life Care for Animals By Holistic Veterinarian Ella Bittel, shown by Amaroq Weiss

While it can be of great benefit to have euthanasia available, our fears of death and the possibility of letting our animal suffer, combined with the profound lack of information on animal hospice, have frequently lead animal owners to feel that they don't have any other choice when the end of their animal's life comes closer.

Through the death of her dog Momo in 2001, Ella realized that none of her extensive veterinary training had included how to care for an animal that goes through a natural dying process. Indeed, this important topic simply is often dismissed in our society.

Yet there is an inherent value to the natural dying process, as it gives the animal time to prepare for the transition it is about to make. Understanding the needs of the dying gives us more confidence to allow this process to unfold in its own time.

In this recording of Ella giving a one-hour Powerpoint presentation on animal hospice, the common reasons for euthanasia are re-evaluated, and the western definition of when the dying process is concluded is challenged by scientific research on the body's subtle energy systems which coincide with knowledge passed along in ancient teachings.

Ella Bittel has specialized in holistic treatment options for animals for over 20 years.

She is certified with IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Association), with AVCA (Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association), with Linda Tellington-Jones as a TTOUCH practitioner, and with Donna Eden, adapting her Energy Medicine techniques to support animals through their aura and chakras.

Born in Germany, Ella now lives and works as a Holistic Veterinarian in California. Perceiving dying and supporting the dying as a sacred, precious art, she created a weekend seminar on end-of-life care for animals, "Spirits in Transition".

The film highlights some of the topics covered in this seminar and will be shown by Amaroq Weiss, who - being a certified TTOUCH practitioner herself- met Ella last year at the 30-year celebration of TTouch and TTeam practitioners. Deeply inspired and moved by Ella's presentation at this international gathering, Amaroq leapt at the chance to bring the full- length 15 hour event to Ashland. Designed for people interested in learning more about hospice for animals, the weekend seminar "Spirits in Transition" is offered at Jackson WellSprings July 20-22.

Lecture: How Can We Help the Earth and Ourselves?
By Don Chapin

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

This is a presentation to inform and to help empower those of us that want self-empowerment, even as we work to advance humankind and the Earth's transition into a higher dimension.

Part One: An extension of Catherine Larkin's RVML presentation on August 30, 2005 http://www.rvml.org/calendar/wc08302005.htm, yet based on additional, independent corroborating assessments against the works of Drs. Steven Greer and Michael Sala, along with some info from William Henry. Humanity and the Earth are faced with a very real threat from an external source that has us tremendously outclassed technically and mentally. What are their capabilities and goals? Some personal experiences in psychic defense against a related threat will also be discussed, as time permits.

In the second part, based on both authoritative references and his personal experiences, Don presents a methodology to defend humanity and the Earth, while raising our personal and Earth's vibrational levels for the coming potential dimensional shifts.

Also as time permits, we'll have short Q&A sessions at the end of each segment.

Presenter's Biography:

Professional history: Electronics technician, maintenance team chief, multidiscipline (aerospace) R&D engineer, project manager, market development engineer, systems analyst, computer programmer, engineering test lab supervisor, business start-ups in Delaware, Nevada, California and Hong Kong, international publisher, workshop facilitator, nonprofit consultant, quality team lead, systems engineering team lead, and currently (while retired) a volunteer small business consultant with SCORE.
Spiritually, throughout these various positions and careers, my underlying interest in metaphysics as an "armchair seeker" for over 30 years, eventually led to becoming an "active seeker" in '88. This led to an almost explosive spiritual development, which included a forced entry-level apprenticeship in psychic work and a ministerial ordination.
The background for this spiritual development can be found on my website under Book 1, Chapter 7 and Addendums 3 & 4, and a short Unity Consciousness series, while the ministerial ordination is in the Admin page under "Ordination Trail."

Free Lecture: Applied Kinesiology, Demonstration, and Mini-Sessions
By Tom Clunie D.C.

April 2, May 7, and June 14, 2007

FREE ADMISSION

Presentation Description:

Tom Clunie D.C. specializes in Applied Kinesiology, also known as "muscle testing." This non-invasive, highly accurate, diagnostic treatment method was discovered in the 1960s by George Goodheart D.C., when he realized that specific organs reflex to specific muscles. Using Applied Kinesiology, a practitioner can locate misaligned vertebra, determine which organ system is under stress, and identify the exact nutrient the organ system needs for healing. Herbs, vitamins, and minerals are often essential for the restoration of spinal and overall health.

Dr. Clunie will give a free presentation at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library on Monday, April 2, Monday, May 7, and Thursday, June 14 from 7-9 p.m. Bring your questions and 1-2 supplements you would like Dr. Clunie to test.

Tom Clunie graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1981. After practicing in Santa Cruz, California for 24 years, and Coquille, Oregon for 3 years, Dr. Clunie has resettled in Talent, with the goal of providing high-quality chiropractic health care in the Rogue Valley.

He feels called to be as a midwife to the emerging culture, assisting both in its birth and development as well as in the navigation of the unforeseen consequences of humanity's past choices, which are defining the context for that emergence. Through extensive travels and speaking around the Pacific Northwest he has aligned with an inspired network of allies with whom he is crafting new paradigm networks and tools like the WorldCrafter's Network (http://www.worldcrafters.org) and CultureSeed (http://www.cultureseed.org) to support the emergence of this new culture.

Lecture: Spirituality and Civic Engagement
By Jaelle Draigomir

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

There are a growing number of people who feel a disconnect between their values and those of our current National leadership. On one hand, there is an awakening to the psychological manipulation that is occurring in our media. On the other hand, there is a feeling of fatalistic determinism that contributes to political passivity and defeatism. There is a feeling of helplessness and hopelessness. A sense is a drift that whatever we do, it is useless. Add to that the unending phantasmagoria of entertainments, obsessions, addictions and distractions, and we are led to have the feeling that nothing matters. There is a terrible sense of political paralysis.

Yet, there is a growing recognition that as spiritual beings it is imperative that we act. It is easy being spiritual; it is difficult being political. Those who are consciously on their spiritual path, shy from the alienation of political power and greed. Those who are political activists rarely find the impetus to bring the spiritual into the political arena.

However, politics and spirituality are inextricably bound. Public policies, that either degrade or uplift moral living, teeter on the fulcrum of politics. Moral living is essential to spiritual progress. Unless we move towards an act of goodness that brings about a recognizable change in the world, the political fulcrum, from which fundamental shift occurs, will calcify in the wake of greed and power.

An act of goodness begins with learning how to love even the meanest of beings as oneself. All the major religions teach "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Yet, learning how to love is a lost art. In this lively presentation, Jaelle will discuss the problems inherent in a nation that separates the spiritual from the political and will offer solutions to resolve the disconnect.

Lexi Delgado
Lecture: Experiencing Freedom- The Journey from the Individual to the Collective Through Hellinger Family Constellation Work
By Lexi Delgado

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

Constellation work is a powerful portal into a larger reality in which one often feels a greater sense of freedom and expansiveness. With opportunities to work on patterns in the personal psyche which may be stuck or redundant as well as opportunity to merge into the vast fields of knowing through representation in others' constellations, participants often find themselves gratefully extricated from their personal stories and realities and gently but clearly offered a new lens through which to see the world. Although one returns to their body and place in time, it is difficult to entirely forget the other realities accessible through constellation work. Each step into the broader realms of the knowing fields leaves expansion in some form as a result. Expansion is another name for healing.

THE ORIGINS: Bert Hellinger, father of Constellation Work, has been a priest, missionary, and psychotherapist in his 80+ years. Movements of the Soul, the setting of constellations for healing and personal growth is based on an understanding that what is ignored, hidden or shunned does not go away, often hanging on into the lives of future generations in the form of dis-ease, psychological issues, and general malaise. In other words, many of our problems are not our own; they have become part of our "constellation". Hellinger's work has been at the forefront of effective theraputic practice in Europe for many years. Constellation work offers soulful exploration and healing for individuals, their families and all kinds of dis-ease.

THE WORK: By accessing the family, cultural or mythic field of an individual through setting a constellation, we can be with the past and set it right- simply by taking a look, acknowledging it, and letting it move through. This will ripple forward into the present causing more peace and flow for the individual and those related to the system the constellation was set for.

Beyond the individual constellation, and at the heart of Lexi's enthusiasm for this work, is the opportunity for particiapnts to grow out of "self" and into the collective. By making way for the energy of another being to move through, one lets go of identity as one person, one ego, one story, and merges with Oneness. The positive repercussions for participants are often significant and deepens the idea that by helping others we help ourselves. Similarly, by doing our own work, we heal the world; when the burdens we carry between lifetimes affect many systems, our freedom from the burden loosens the entire pattern.

Presenter's Biography:

Lexi Delgado is a marriage and family counselor who works both in private practice and for a mental health agency in Southern Oregon. She has undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Masters in Counseling Psychology and Group Facilitation. A long-time student of David La Chapelle and trained in constellation work by Stephen Victor, Lexi brings depth, solid connection, and joy to her work.
