Facilitator's Biography:

Kristina has studied in India, Spain and extensively in the US. Her asana teachers include Vanessa Scott and Andre Lappa, with whom she did her most recent teacher training. She currently studies Rajanaka Tantric Philosophy with Douglas Brooks. In the classes, we combine both mystical and esoteric aspects of Yoga with ongoing conversation of philosophy, celebrated within a gentle but challenging asana practice.

All levels are welcome. Please arrive by 9:30am and bring a Yoga mat.

Presentation Description:

Everything new is conceived in an inner space of openness where normal, linear thinking limited by preoccupation with the past, the future, and circumstances is suspended and the visionary mind characterized by holistic, possibility thinking is spawned. This focus of awareness can be consciously accessed when we align with Source energy. The Inner Smile Alchemical Approach, drawn from ancient Daoist practices, is the natural conduit to the energy of the Source. When practicing the Inner Smile we open up inner space the same way the Universe opens more outer space to form new stars in - out of nothing. This is the space in which healing, creativity and change occur spontaneously and without effort. We do not make the changes, life does, by virtue of our alignment and willingness.

Join visionary Alexander Alexis for this conversation about the lifeforce and learn how you can co-operate with it to experience changes, have healing and create new things the way nature does - spontaneously, out of nothing. An Inner Smile meditation/journey will be conducted at the end of the talk.

Alexander Alexis' private counseling practice in Ashland is a distillation of over thirty years of richly eclectic experience in healing and personal growth. He is dedicated to helping people align with their true nature and create the changes they want to have. He is a chi gung and Daoist Internal Alchemy adept, having studied with internationally recognized Daoist scholar and master Michael Winn since 1998. Alexander is also a highly diversified artist with specialties in writing, sculpture, painting, singing and cooking. He has had private practices in Boston, MA, Sedona, AZ, Asheville, NC, and Santa Fe, NM.
