FREE ADMISSION – 1757 Ashland St., Ashland, OR. One mile west of I-5 Exit 14
Business owners spend significant time and investment building their reputations among their customers and within the community at large. Years of relationship-building and potentially costly marketing campaigns are necessary to develop a booming business whose name, logo, and reputation are recognized in an instant. To become the “go-to” business for your field takes time and money, and is an investment worth protecting. This is where trademarks come in. In this presentation, trademark attorney, Leah Halpert, will clarify what a trademark is and how proper protection will bring significant value to your business.
Leah Halpert is the founder of Halpert Trademark Law. She is an accomplished attorney with over a decade of experience in all aspects of trademark law and brand protection, including trademark application and registration, trademark maintenance, brand strategy development, and brand enforcement. Leah believes that all businesses, no matter their size, deserve proper protection of their good names, as encompassed by their trademarks, and enjoys helping small businesses ensure that the blood, sweat, and tears put into building the business is protected. In her off-time, Leah is a full-time mom to her 9 and 6-year-old daughters, driving them to and from various activities and helping them realize the goddesses that they are.
Leah holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, and a JD with a focus in Intellectual Property Law from Santa Clara University.
