Eli Jaxon-Bear
Lecture: Sudden Awakening into Direct Realization
With Eli Jaxon-Bear

FREE ADMISSION

Location: Havurah Temple- 185 N. Mountain, Ashland

Presentation Description:

All are welcome to come and investigate the silent truth of being. A short period of sitting in silence is followed by the opportunity to ask questions.

Copies of Eli Jaxon-Bear's new book "Sudden Awakening" will be available for signing.

"Eli's beautiful book evokes the timeless truth freshly and without dogma. The result is a thrilling response from what is deepest and most authentic in the reader."
- Gangaji, spiritual teacher and author of Freedom & Resolve.

"Using insights from psychology, astronomy, physics, and biology, Sudden Awakening is a contemporary rendering of ancient truths - and it also offers some new ones of its own. But more importantly, it gives the reader an experience of its title."
- Catherine Ingram, author of Passionate Presence.

Presenter's Biography:

Eli Jaxon-Bear was born Elliot Jay Zeldow in Brooklyn, New York, in 1947. His eighteen-year spiritual path started in 1971, when he was a federal fugitive during the Vietnam war. In 1978, Kalu Rinpoche appointed him the president of the first Kagyu dharma center in Marin County. In 1982, he was presented with a Zen Teaching Fan at ChoShoJi Zen Temple in Japan.

After a search took him around the world and into many traditions and practices, his path and his search ended when he was pulled to India in 1990, where he met his final teacher, Sri H.W.L. Poonja.

Confirming Eli's realization, his teacher sent him back into the world to share his unique psychological insights into the nature of egoic suffering in support of self-realization. Eli infuses the teaching with his teacher's living transmission of Silence. He presents a unique map of egoic identification as a vehicle for ruthless self-inquiry and final realization of true freedom. He dedicates his life to passing on the transmission of his teacher.

Eli currently meets people and teaches through the Leela Foundation, a non-profit spiritual organization dedicated to world peace and freedom through universal self-realization.

He is the author of The Enneagram of Liberation: from fixation to freedom, and editor of Wake Up and Roar: Satsang with H.W.L. Poonja, Volumes 1 and 2. His new book, Sudden Awakening, was released by New World Library in September 2004.

Ongoing UFO Sightings Near Mt. Adams Washington- The Latest Videos
By James Gilliland

All Tueday evening events at
RVML are FREE ADMISSION

Presentation Description:

James will discuss his numerous contact experiences and show videotape of the crafts that regularly appear near his home in Trout Lake, Washington. Videotaped interviews with eye-witnesses and well known scientists will also be presented.

Everyone is feeling it. Something is in the wind. Something grand is unfolding on the horizon, just around the corner. A knowingness and feeling that soon it will no longer be business as usual. Is it tumultuous times of exciting social, economic and physical Earth changes? A collective initiation and ascension into Higher Consciousness & Energy? A grand reunion with ancient ancestors from the stars?

James has appeared on Coast to Coast AM Show, has been a frequent guest on the Jeff Rense Sightings on the Radio, Laura Lee Show, Millennium Mysteries, Sean David Morton and Shine.

He has been a speaker at many events and featured on the The History Channel, ABC and FOX news, King 5 (Seattle) TV's Evening Magazine, Elaine Smitha, Daylene Gates Simply Spiritual, Off The Record with Ted Loman, International UFO Congress, and many other national and international TV, radio and other media.

His articles and UFO reports have been featured by Magical Blend and UFO Magazine and have been regularly featured by major UFO information outlets such as Filer's Files, UFO Roundup, CAUS, MUFON, Skywatch International, PSI Applications, UFORC.Com, Farshores, The Virtually Strange Network.

James frequently lectures on these topics: Near death experience, UFOs, life after death, the consciousness planes, dimensions, and the vibrational continuum. Healing negative influences, discarnate spirits, poltergeists, thought forms, and limiting mental concepts. He has extensive documentation of the appearance of Spiritual Masters and other Off World Visitors as well.

Presenter's Biography:

After a near death experience brought about by drowning, James could no longer continue business as usual. His eyes were fully opened, and he saw the lack of love and joy in his life and his work. Success through material acquisition, "the American dream", was now seen for its emptiness. He realized that the temporary joy and pleasure possessions and outer appearances brought were not the goal and began his inward journey. After experiencing the pure unconditional love and joy, "BLISS", of connecting directly to the source during his near death experience, all that mattered was to reconnect and maintain that contact.

This began a spiritual journey and 20-year quest which included 6 years of Yoga, The Inner Christ Ministry, and the Tibetan foundation were he was certified as being an intuitive visionary of the highest consciousness and energy. James has studied with other yogis, lamas, master teachers and continuously has been taught from within through his extensive practicing of meditation.

After his NDE, James received the gift of Interdimensional Mind and the ability to transfer powerful consciousness and energy to others, helping them in their own awakening and healing process. He is the author of REUNION WITH SOURCE and BECOMMING GODS II.

He's lived a semi-reclusive life since 1986 at the Sattva Sanctuary, a 70 acre mountain retreat located at the base of Mt. Adams in Trout Lake, Washington. The Sanctuary has been in operation since 1986. It has been recognized by many sensitives, intuitives, adepts, and masters of all walks for its spiritual qualities which greatly enhance and accelerate the awakening and healing process. The Sanctuary and those who participate are dedicated to the awakening and healing of Humanity and the Earth, body, mind and spirit.

John Larsen
Free Lecture: Diet and Consciousness
By John Larsen

Free Admission

Presentation Description:

Join raw food chef John Larsen for an evening of inquiry into the correlation between the food we consume and the state of consciousness that we experience.

There are numerous opinions on diet, in this discussion the focus will be on the foods themselves and their role on an energetic level in leading one to a higher state of being in the world.

The topics of discussion will include:

Different historical views on food and diet
Qualities of various types of food
Effects of food on consciousness
The vibrational spectrum of foods
Effects of consciousness on diet
The natural diet of humans
How to eat for ecological and social evolution

Presenter's Biography:

For Raw Food Chef John Larsen, the joy of creative food invention began many years ago. At a very young age, John would concoct different combinations of lotions and shampoos in his family's bathroom. Soon his mother recognized his innate need to prepare and mix, and gave him real food ingredients to experiment with. John began with traditional fare - creative egg dishes, unusual sandwich combinations, and different blends of fruit smoothies.

At the age of six, John tragically lost his father in a car accident. For several years afterwards, he sought to soothe the pain of this loss with sugary and fatty "comfort foods". Both John and his mother gained a lot of weight during this period, which was compounded by the ill feeling that results from consuming large quantities of unwholesome denatured foods.

John changed his pattern of eating at just ten years old, awaking one morning to announce that he was no longer going to eat this way. He wanted to lose weight and be healthier - he was swearing off sugar! No one thought that this whim would last very long, for how much will power does a ten-year-old have to avoid sugar and fat? A lot, in John's case.

Halloween came around along with holidays and birthdays. John stayed true to his goal, to the astonishment of his family and friends. He went on to become a vegetarian in high school and has remained very health conscious throughout his life. Not surprisingly, John gravitated towards work as a chef after high school.
During his 12-year career as a professional chef, John has cooked in four-star restaurants, catered for private events, and prepared different styles of cuisine up and down the West Coast. The journey to raw foods began while traveling in 1998; John's seat companion turned out to be a raw food enthusiast and chef. After talking for hours about this exciting new style of cuisine, John changed his approach to food, met and became a student of Victoria Boutenko, and later that year, ran the first raw food café in Ashland, Oregon.

John enjoys ethnic foods, especially Mexican and Asian cuisine, and has invested a great deal of his energy in creating raw recipes that replicate the cooked ethnic dishes that he and his wife Hamsa love. John's most recent endeavor was a large scale raw food restaurant in Ashland, Luminescence, which sadly closed it's doors this past summer. John continues to cater raw food for private events, festivals and individual customers here in Oregon. Friends and clients are constantly begging John to share his delicious recipes, relished by many in Ashland's expanding raw food community. Last year a sampling of his recipes were committed to print for the first time in The Complete Book Of Raw Food. John plans to publish an extensive collection of his own in the near future, as well as begin a course of training to enable others to prepare raw food in the same manner that he has popularized here in Ashland.

Ashland Constitutional Dialogue #3-
How do you Choose to be Governed in Ashland?-
Creating a Holistic Model of Government

Requested Donation

Description:

The City of Ashland is re-writing our Charter -- our city's Constitution! -- from the ground up!

The Ashland Charter is the official transfer of legal and decision making powers from We The People to the corporation known as City of Ashland. It's the most important document in town. It's the job of We The People to decide what we want in OUR Charter. We have an historic opportunity to create and bring into reality here in Ashland a higher form of Democratic Republic that balances the "yin" of Democracy, the energy that creates the conditions for freedom and equality, with the "yang" of Republic, the energy that creates decision making structures that foster order and responsibility (the result is intended to be a replicatable model applicable to all levels of government.)

The growing number of "empowered citizens" engaged in the iterative dialogue/door-to-door survey process are evolving this holistic model for a Democractic Republic to include a "Citizens Branch" of government currently called at this level a Citizen Participation Plan, and other practical innovations.

Dialogue #1 and #2 have been a big success! We'll build on that design for Dialogue #3: small groups dialogue on specific Constitutional ammendments. Then you help build the ballot through a special survey.

Lecture: Sacred Geometry & Planetary Resonances
By Bruce Rawles

All Tuesday evening events at
RVML are FREE ADMISSION

Presentation Description:

Sacred Geometry researcher, author and digital artist Bruce Rawles will present two very full hours of multimedia revelations involving sacred geometry and our solar system, after giving a quick review of basic principles of 2D and 3D universal geometric archetypes and how they relate to everything from subatomic resonances, our DNA, morphology of the plant and animal kingdoms, and tetrahedral locations of volcanoes. The gap between the microcosm and the macrocosm has been brilliantly spanned in our solar system by the work of contemporary geometer, John Martineau.

Bruce has verified many of Martineau's simple, yet elegant and highly accurate geometrical models of the solar system and created artwork that superbly shows the principle of interconnectedness these breakthroughs exemplify. Johannes Kepler attempted to model the solar system with a pair of woodcuts depicting nested spheres and Platonic Solids; his models were lovely but inaccurate mathematically. Martineau's models, however are all 99% to 99.99% accurate! Bruce will show how all these pairs of planets relate to each other with precision sacred geometry and relate to everything from crop circle theorems to transformative biology and consciousness. Many other related topics will be presented, tying together seemingly separate disciplines.

Presenter's Biography:

Bruce Rawles has studied what has become known as sacred geometry since the early 70s.

His widely acclaimed, self-published book, Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook, has been translated into German and he is working on several other books, including an expanded introduction to the seven Hermetic Laws. He was a primary presenter at the Global Sacred Geometry Conference in Sedona, Arizona in February 2004, and contributed key animations to a new BioScope interactive biofeedback game. His top-ranked (#1 in google) website features a tutorial and extensive references at: http://www.intent.com" Target="_blank">http://www.intent.com as well as related interests and art inspired by the principles of interconnectedness, both mathematically and intuitively.

Bruce's giclee artwork inspired by John Martineau (and acrylic & oil paintings by his wife Nancy as well) will be featured throughout the month of January 2005 at: David Michaels Barstools & Dinettes, 205 Fern Valley Road, Phoenix, Oregon 535-5477.

Joyce Patten
Free Lecture: A Trip to John of God
By Dr. Joyce Patten

Free Admission

Presentation Description:

There is a portal of Divine energy in Abadiania, Brazil. Without ever asking for it, Joao Texeira de Faria, known as John of God, began receiving amazing abilities to heal when he was just 16. Since then, more than 15 million people have experienced his presence and touch of grace, receiving healing for innumerable ailments. People seek him out for all sorts of maladies, from cancer, MS, mental problems, and muscular dystrophy, to asthma, allergies, paralysis, and arthritis. John of God is unquestionably one of the world's most powerful spiritual healers living today.

Joao de Deus does 2 different types of surgeries: invisible, or psychic, and visible. Joyce Patten received a number of invisible surgeries, and at her request, viewed Joao, at his side, performing visible surgeries. John of God's basic message is that love is the source of all true healing. He has never taken a cent for the work that he gives with so much love and compassion.

Joyce also experienced the Crystal Light Bath treatments that Joao prescribes for many of his seekers. Recognizing the healing potential of the Crystal Light Bath, Dr. Patten brought one back to Ashland, so that she could not only use it herself, but offer its miracles to our community. It is a complex set-up of quartz crystals, each illuminated by a light source, on a stand that allows each crystal to be situated over a chakra. The seven major chakras are then each illuminated, in a session that lasts about 40 minutes.

Dr. Patten will share some of her heart-touching encounters with John of God, and also with the Crystal Light Bath. Because she has been affected so deeply by these interactions, she has been lead to share these life-changing experiences, and welcomes you to join her. She speaks Portuguese fluently and will be leading a small group to be with John of God from April 30 through May 14, 2005.

Dr. Patten can be reached at (541) 488-8248, or freedomj@mind.net. The website for John of God's healing center in Brazil, is http://www.friendsofthecasa.org

Many blessings.

Presenter's Biography:

Dr. Joyce Patten has been studying healing for more than 28 years. She has an unusual background of having lived, studied, worked and taught in Hong Kong, China, Nepal, Micronesia, and Brazil. She has been a chiropractor for 16 years, practicing for 13 years in Ashland, and 3 years in Brazil. Taking people to see João de Deus is a mission that she recently received, and that she looks forward to with great joy.

Workshop: The Holy Ideas: Spiritual Aspects of Character Type
An Enneagram workshop with Carl Marsak, M.A.

COST: $50.00 - $100.00 (sliding scale)

Workshop Description:

This one-day workshop will focus on the spiritual aspects of character type as understood and articulated by the ancient and sacred nine-pointed diagram known as the Enneagrm. According to Enneagram theory, the root and core of character type is a fearful contraction in early childhood, when receptive awareness encounters a less-than-perfect holding environment. Fixated or neurotic coping strategies then develop, which become nine styles of contraction against Spirit, or the life-force as it manifests in daily life.

Each style of contraction was useful in the past, as it protected the child from harm. However, each style of fixation becomes a cognitive bias, a false belief system that ultimately blocks access to a particular quality of Being, or aspect of the Essential Self. In the tradition of the Enneagram, these spiritual aspects are known as the nine Holy Ideas. They are "objective views of reality", and their realization brings spiritual freedom from the structures and patterns of the lower self or character type. They provide access to the dimension known in non-dual traditions as Being, and in the Judeo-Christian world as God or Spirit.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning about the Enneagram. However, it is particularly designed for those who already have some experience and understanding of they system, and are wanting to use the information and wisdom encoded in the diagram to access the spiritual or transpersonal aspects of character type. This workshop will include a video presentation, group work, and panel interviews of several different Enneatypes.

Khier Starchylde
Lecture: Holistic Healing Using Bio-Energy Machines
By Khier Starchylde

All Tueday evening events at
RVML are FREE ADMISSION

Presentation Description:

One connection for humanity to spiritual experience and the inner worlds is through healing. And just as you use an EEG to monitor your heart, you can use several 21st Century Bio-energy machines to facilitate the body's ability to love and heal. This talk and Power-point presentation will illustrate how this technology can help you heal holistically.

Healing, (mental, physical and emotional) brings humanity to a real connection with the INNER worlds and with spirit. We begin to experience that healing is truly one face of LOVE.

Bio-energy machines like the SEAD, QID, QXCI, Bicom2000, and the Biophoton Analyzer have various capacities to assess and/or balance the frequencies of a person, animal, or plant holistically. Thousands testify that even more than balancing occurs.

This presentation picks up from advancements by Tesla, Warburg, Lakhovsky, Abrams, Drown, and Rife to take us to quantum levels. Such exquisite balancing can be done remotely, at a distance! Stephen Lewis describes this in depth in the book Sanctuary at Amazon to put you in the quantum picture.

Since we are all energy ourselves, there are many ways we can be "balanced". Khier will lead you through several of these machines in the room and with Power-point with the intention of inspiring your intention. His talk points to what is innovative and dynamic in this burgeoning field in which personal testimonies abound, and case studies and blind studies support. Dr Royal Rife had documented cures of 100% of his patients, and that was back in the 1940s.

Learn what is innovative and potent about this burgeoning field, and find out why this technology has been suppressed. Bring your questions and your curiosity to this evening as he will lead you through a tour of bio-energy.

Presenter's Biography:

Khier P Starchylde, having a Ph.D. in literature and another Master's in Transpersonal Psychology, has practiced how to integrate body, emotions, mind, and spirit in such a way as to foster health. He has been a facilitator for 33 years, using therapeutic techniques that include Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, and now bio-energy machines that aid in the assessment of our frequencies, and give marvelous responses to these energies.

Khier may be reached at (541) 846-1011 e-mail: khier@astropath.org

New Paradigm Institute General Meeting

Cost: Donations accepted, to help cover room costs.

Dear New Paradigm Institute, Southern Oregon Community,

Thanks to everyone who came to previous meetings... and for sharing so openly and being willing to communicate your truth. It has been a fun mix of exploration, vision, ideas for action, and respect for all.

People have been sharing the vision, what has personal meaning for them, what they would like to see in the world, and how to go about creating it. Some are looking for what they can do to help the get the first step of the Crestone project anchored into the now.

There are many converging interests: with a desire to act and get the Crestone Academy building up, develop curriculum and creative ways of learning, desire to honor each person's vision and contributions, passion about creating more participation in government by the people, creation of a local news co-operative and more! Some of these ideas or projects will possibly also serve as models for the Summer school for kids in Crestone.

So many of us are seeking to create positive change in our inner and outer worlds. Please join with us in discussing ways to support and create Danny's vision that is so inclusive of all world-views. We hope to see you there!
