Workshop Description:
What is Healing Touch? Healing Touch is an approach to helping individuals by restoring balance in the human energy field. Practitioners use non invasive techniques with their hands to clear, energize and balance the energy fields within and around the body, thus, affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing. The work is complementary to other modalities in health care and often brings about a decrease in pain, relief of anxiety and acceleration of the body's healing process.
Walk away with confidence and competence. This class brings together people from all backgrounds and all levels of energy work and gives them powerful techniques and a clear understanding of energy medicine. Healing Touch provides a common foundation from which to work. Students learn through lecture and supervised practice sessions. Each workshop quickly creates a supportive atmosphere and a deep trusting bond between students and instructors.

- Principles and practice of Healing Touch
- The Human energy system and its relationship to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health
- How to assess the energy field and energy centers
- Principles of self healing
- Professional aspects of touch therapies
- How to use Healing Touch in your personal life and/or professional work
Healing Touch is an international certificate program. It provides a course of study using a variety of basic to advanced healing modalities. Healing Touch certification is sequenced in five levels - beginner to advanced practitioner and expert. Certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner is available upon application to Healing Touch International, Inc., following completion of course work and additional requirements.

Presenter's Biography
Steven E. Anderson, RN, BSN, HNC, CHTP/I
Steve became a certified Healing Touch instructor in 1993. He retired from the Navy in 1997 after 28 years of service as a Nurse Corps Commander. He has taught over 300 Healing Touch certification courses, including courses for six Naval Hospitals. Steve is a Certified Holistic Nurse through the American Holistic Nurses' Certification Corporation. He was a Board Member of Healing Touch International, Inc., for over five years and served on the Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor certification board for over five years. Steve has a private practice and teaches all five levels of Healing Touch certification sources and Advance Practice 1 and 2 throughout the United States, Europe and Canada.
