Meeting: The Book of Revelation, presented by astrologer Don Cerow
at the monthly meeting of Astrology in Ashland, The Southern Oregon Chapter of the
National Council for Geocosmic Research (SONCGR*)

$5 General Public, $4 Seniors (62+), $3 NCGR Member

Description:

Revelation 4:1 Then, in my vision, I saw a door open in Heaven and heard the same voice speaking to me, the voice like a trumpet, saying, "Come up here; I will show you what is to come in the future."

Building upon the themes presented in Myths, Stars and Dragons, the mysteries of this final book of the New Testament are opened to reveal an amazing story of the future as foreseen from the first century AD. While the message of the Letters to the Seven Churches and the Secrets of the Seven Seals is laid bare, a new enigma is revealed as we find ourselves now standing at the very gates of Omega, described by Revelation as 'the end'.

The Book of Revelation is the story of the Age of Pisces, and it is all laid out along astrological guidelines, as intentionally encrypted by the authors of this legendary work. It coincidentally coincides with predictions for the Mayan calendar for 2012. Help unravel the threads of this, the most mythic book of the entire Bible.

Don Cerow Bio: An astrologer since 1972, Don holds a BA from the UMass where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Classics, and a minor in Astrology in the Ancient World. He later continued his graduate work at both Boston University and Brandeis. Author of the weekly column, Athena's Web, which currently is carried on-line and by the Amherst Bulletin, Don has also written and produced shows for radio and television, and has also helped produce two shows for Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He has a video available for purchase called Myths, Dragons, and the Ages which is about the sources of many of our astronomical myths, and why they held meaning for those observing the skies.
