Workshop: The TAO of Mayan Healing- Building the Bridge between Science and the Ancient Wisdom Keepers
With Judith Lightfeather

Feb. 1st, Thursday evening , 7-10 pm
Feb. 3, 4th, Saturday & Sunday 9 am - 6 pm

(See below for registration information)

Workshop Description:

Combining the Science with the Mayan Wisdom begins to create an understanding of the patterns and relationships of energy flow from the multi-Universes to the atoms of the human body. Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing art based on a light touch of the spin point vortexes located on the energy meridians of the human body. Utilizing a toner for sound in the emotional field creates a vibration at the cellular level for release of issues, pain and dis-easement creating a natural flow of energy through these important meridians for wellness.

Understanding the energies of the Mayan glyphs for healing and activation adds to the power of the session. The energies of the Tzolk'in glyphs each carry a specific intent for spiritual growth and understanding in your Earth Walk. This course will empower you to become a sacred portal of these divine energies for clearing, healing and activations at the atomic level of the cellular structure where all potential for health and change resides in the still point with God/Hunab KU.

Home Study for preparation:

For students/practitioners who would like to study the text materials in advance of the training sessions the course is available in PDF documents that can now be downloaded from our website. This method will give you more time to study the course at a comfortable pace and permit the teachers to devote most of their time for your class in hands-on experiential training for you to become adept at performing the healing sessions and receive Certification. The entire website is designed as a learning experience in preparation for the classes.

Please visit the website and review the materials if you are registering for the course.

Presenter's Biography:

Judith Light Feather, Minister, Founder Academie of Light. Combining 14 years of research on the Mayan and Anasazi Ancient Cultures with cosmology and nano science at the atomic scale have led to the development of this intensive course. The first Academie of Light was established for a year in Houston in collaboration with Ken Cox, NASA-JSC to teach consciousness awareness and spiritual concepts in preparation for space colonization in the future. Judith's connections with the space agencies continues to this day as co-founder of CANEUS Organization in Montreal, Canada which includes members of global space agencies from Canada, Europe, United States, Japan, China and India.

As President of The NanoTechnology Group Inc, a Global Education Consortium for K-20 nano science education she is invited to speak in many countries around the world and participated in the UNIDO-ICS Expert Working Group for Nanotechnology in Developing Nations held in Trieste, Italy. She is on the Board of Advisors for the NanoEthics Group in California and on five Advisory Boards of Lifeboat Foundaton. Judith was featured in the 2003 International Who's Who in Education Professionals and the 1983 1st Edition of Notable Women of Texas for her fine art portraiture, which included an Appointment as a U.S. Coast Guard Artist in 1983-84.

As a teacher/ practitioner and Reiki Master, Judith has expanded her energy healing work over the years to include the Mayan Tonal Acupressure and Axiatonal Initiation work. She traveled the United States from 1992-1996 sharing these teachings and practicing the healing methods. During these travels she visited many sacred lands and was identified by the Native American tribes as a Medicine Woman and given the name 'Light Feather', while in the Yucatec Maya lands she was identified as the Owl Priestess of Uxmal and given the name 'Balam Ak'bal' (Jaguar of the Night) as a Mayan Sh'men (female shaman). Her ongoing Mayan research of the nine recurring cycles that multiply in fractals throughout infinity explains the deeper layers of the patterns and relationships between the cycles known as the calendars.

Some aspects of the Mayan healing work developed by Judith were presented by Dr. Christopher Ging in a Dissertation on comparative studies between the Chinese/Mayan healing modalities at the University of Beijing Medical Center in 2005 and 2006. Sharing this knowledge with humanity for clearing of our issues, activation of our energy patterns and moving towards a state of well-being is the most powerful step towards inner peace where all peace begins and flows outward. "We have no limits, only those we impose on ourselves," is her mantra. So if you are already a teacher/practitioner of another modality of healing, explore this course to expand your areas of expertise as a portal of the Universal energy of GOD/Hunab K'u.

Special Guest from Niger: Festus Onogholo, African Co-ordinator, Divine Peace Initiative for Africa. The Academie of Light will host Festus Onogholo winner of the Africa Peace Gold Award for 2006 during the month of January & February, 2007 as he travels to the United States to learn the healing practices of Mayan Tonal Acupressure so that he can become a Teacher/Practitioner in his country. During his visit Festus will lead us in a powerful opening and closing meditation so that more people may join in the experiences of his guidance from Lord Sananda (Jesus) and Lord Kuthumi.

Discussion: Steps to Knowledge
Facilitated by Catherine J. Larkin

FREE ADMISSION

Description:

The Steps to Knowledge is a self-study manual of 365 steps for accessing inner guidance. This access to true Knowledge, or inner gnosis, is the best preparation for whatever the future holds. The perspective of the Greater Community Way of Knowledge is that our world is being prepared to enter into the greater community of worlds, and that humanity must prepare for this emergence. This teaching addresses our evolutionary moment with simple yet profound insights, and most importantly, not with just information but with a means of preparation.

A practice group for those interested in utilizing the Steps program is forming. In this discussion Catherine Larkin, a student of the Steps material since it's initial publication in 1989, will share her experience with the teaching and answer questions.

All are welcome to attend, though it is intended most especially for those considering whether to make use of this extraordinary practice. RVML has copies of all of the Greater Community Way of Knowledge books, authored by Marshall Summers. Watching the video of Catherine's talk at RVML on the Allies of Humanity message, called "Connecting the Dots, the Hidden Threat to Human Freedom", might be a useful background, though the study group will be on the Steps material, which is quite different.

Facilitator's Biography:

Catherine Jane Larkin, M.A., has 24 years experience as a healer, teacher and counselor. In 1989 she was certified in Self Attunement, which facilitates healing at the individual soul level. In 2002 this was extended to working with the family soul through the Bert Hellinger Family Constellations. Catherine is a gifted public speaker and synthesizes from many sources.

Born in Iowa in 1952, Catherine's life long commitment to serving humanity has taken various forms. She has benefited from numerous teachers, including A. H. Almaas, Don Kolmar, Helen Luke, Marion Woodman, Adi Da, Gangaji, Catherine Ingram, Stan Grof, the SFA community, and the Steps to Knowledge program. She graduated from Matthew Foxe's Institute of Creation Centered Spirituality in 1983. Her articles have been published in Conscious Choice magazine in Chicago.

Catherine has traveled extensively to work with planetary energies, including 18 months in the United Kingdom, where her ancestral roots lie. She invites you to share her vision of calling forth the goodness of the human heart and accessing ancestral wisdom to be caretakers of the earth.

Lecture: The Biology of Belief- The New Biology, Where Mind and Matter Meet
By Jim Fritz

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

The Biology of Belief : The work of Bruce Lipton, Ph.D.

Jim Fritz presents Lipton's work with a discussion of the implications for change in the individual, physically, spiritually, socially, mentally and economically. Lipton has created a map showing the operational route from mind (all levels) to actual physiological change at the cellular level, validating the mind body connection.

The next question then becomes, "What is the meaning of this for humanity's perception of itself? Is Genetic determinism the mechanics of fate? If so, end of story; its called being the victim of Grandpa's behavior. Can you really change who you are or are you stuck with what you inherited from your family? If change is possible, how does it work? Even more important, what specific changes would you make in yourself? How will you know when the change has taken place? How does any specific change affect the rest of who you are? How does it affect the rest of the world?

How does the evolutionary progression from Newtonian Physics to Quantum Mechanics influence the process of the change? Let's talk about it!

Presenter's Biography:

Jim Fritz has over 50 years experience in the business and education community. He was an educator in both the public and private sectors at the elementary, secondary and higher education levels, including teaching the Creative Problem-Solving program at the University of New York in Buffalo and at Santa Clara University in California. He has consulted with private industry and state, regional and federal government agencies in the field of creative mind function management training programs.

Since 1980 he has been an executive coach and mentor to over 6000 clients in the field of Career Transition Management working with some of the nation's largest Outplacement firms. As an executive coach he has worked with many Fortune 500 companies. He currently trains international clientele to be Life Coaches.

Free Workshop: Introduction to Psych-K - Find Out the Real "Secret"
By Trudy Bhaerman- Certified PSYCH-K Instructor and Facilitator

PSYCH-K is a technique that facilitates change in the subconscious mind, easily, effectively, and efficiently.

Where Is the Subconscious Mind?
I asked Bruce Lipton that question and he answered, "in every cell of the body".

Why Is This Important?
The subconscious mind is your "super computer" with a "hard drive" that runs your systems (circulation, digestion, etc.) and reproduces your beliefs and perceptions, thus creating your reality…24/7…running 95% of you at 40 million bits a second. The subconscious mind is where all of those "bright ideas" of the conscious mind must go for grounding and systematic replication. In other words, you must actually install that program that you got the bright idea to buy into your computer for real time availability.

So What Went Wrong?.
The subconscious mind was on total "absorb" before age 6 (by design, to keep you safe and happy). However, if your life at that time was less than ideal, this is where most of your "garbage in…garbage out" got programmed in.

How Can I Change This? Change your fear-based beliefs and "install" new beliefs and "programs" of your choosing into your subconscious "computer", which will impact your life at the core and cellular level and create genuine change in your life. This is proper use of the subconscious mind and is what this "cosmic computer" of yours does best.

PSYCH-K… change the software of your mind to change the printout of your life.
For more info on PSYCH-K, go to: http://www.PSYCH-K.com

If this is resonant with you…take action…for yourself, loved ones, friends and family. Also, please notify people that you know would be interested in this.

"Now is the time. Why? Because it's too late to do it sooner." Swami Beyondananda

The 2007 Eclipses
with Mary Plumb

Monday Evening Feb. 19, 2007 7-9 PM
Rouge Valley Metaphysical Library, A Street, Ashland
$5 General, $4 Seniors 62+, $3 NCGR Members

From earliest times, sky watchers have been fascinated and awestruck by the sight of an eclipse in the sky. Astrologers study the impact of eclipses on human life. In this presentation Mary will discuss the four eclipses in 2007, the places on earth of their potentially biggest impact and the areas in our lives where we can tune into the release of energy an eclipse suggests and make best use of the time. To paraphrase an ancient adage: Use the energy of an eclipse, or be used by it!

Mary Plumb has studied astrology for 40 years and has had a private practice since 1985. She has been the Book Review and Web Editor for The Mountain Astrologer magazine since 1993, and has written numerous articles for magazine over the years. Mary has taught all levels of astrology for 20 years, including annual talks for SONCGR, the Black Moon Lilith and The Progressed Moon Cycle at the Oregon Astrological Association in November 2005, and the keynote address at the NCGR Regional Conference here in Ashland in November 2004. Mary Plumb is currently the President of SONCGR. Her Website (and blog): www.maryplumb.com

Workshop: It's All In Your Hands and Your Heart
By Valerie Muroki

$5 General Admission; $4 for Seniors (62+)

Workshop Description:

Rather than believing other people hold the keys to our health and wellbeing, we can learn to use what we already have -- our hands and our hearts (our good-hearted intent) -- to heal ourselves and support our loved ones. Valerie, an advanced practitioner of The TARA Approach, will share an overview of this always growing and vital way of treating our disharmonies and illnesses that combines ancient Eastern energy medicine, called Jin Shin, and modern Western neuropsychology and the latest understanding of shock and trauma. She will help solve the seeming mysteries of our bodies' energy meridians and help you experience treating your meridians through your hands.

Presenter's Biography:

Valerie Muroki has practiced the Tara Approach, Jorei, hypnotherapy or other healing modalities over most of the 30+ years she lived on Maui. A recent Ashland transplant, she eagerly offers to share her knowledge and experience, both as a teacher and an Advanced Practitioner of the Tara Approach.

Valerie has been deeply involved in her community as a court-appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children and a facilitator for family decision making sessions, which include members of Child Protective Services and service providers for the families. She has headed a youth service center on Maui, trained teenagers to be peer mediators, and taught English as a Second Language. Lecture: Courageous Souls: Do we Plan our Life Challenges Before Birth?
By Robert Schwartz

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

In 2003, at a time when he was searching for greater meaning in life, author Robert Schwartz turned for answers to a source he had never before considered - a psychic medium. In his session, he learned for the first time of the existence of spirit guides. Through the medium, he spoke with his guides. He was astounded to discover that they knew everything about him - not only what he had done, but also what he had thought and felt. His guides explained to him that he had planned many of his greatest challenges before birth for purposes of spiritual growth. Suddenly, suffering that had appeared to be empty and purposeless became imbued with deep meaning.

Realizing that a knowledge of pre-birth planning could bring healing and inspiration to people, Schwartz devoted the next three years of his life to its study. Working with four gifted mediums and channels, he examined the pre-birth plans of dozens of individuals. He discovered why people had planned common life challenges like physical illness, having handicapped children, deafness, blindness, drug addiction, alcoholism, the death of a loved one, and traumatic accidents.

In his book Courageous Souls, Schwartz presents channelings from spirit guides, angels, and even interviewees' souls. He also presents actual conversation from the pre-birth planning sessions people conducted with their future spouses, parents, and children. In so doing, he offers a rare glimpse behind the veil, where souls discuss their hopes for the coming lifetime.

As we come to understand that we planned our lives, suffering that once seemed purposeless becomes imbued with deep meaning. Feelings of anger, guilt, blame, and victimization may be replaced with acceptance, peace, and gratitude. Schwartz's work speaks to our universal, heartfelt yearning to know . . . why?

Presenter's Biography:

Robert Schwartz, 44, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Prior to researching and writing Courageous Souls, he worked as a journalist and as a marketing and communications consultant. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and travel.
